We're delighted to have been able to discharge 78 patients now following coronavirus. And yesterday was particularly special, as our own cardiac nurse Tracey Whitcher made her way home after a spell in ITU and Ward 24. A special guard of honour for a very special lady #TeamRBCH
A member of the public came into RBH on Sunday evening and filmed around our hospital, posting the film on social media to show how 'empty' our hospitals are. This is an insult to our staff, our patients and their families.

Weβre thrilled to have discharged 141 people now after being treated for #Covid_19. Today one of our much loved HCAβs Perfecto Reyes, left ICU after four weeks. Heβs the epitome of the caring profession & so deserving of this applause. Perfect guard of honour for our Perfecto! π
Huge congrats to Dr Tanzeem Raza who has been awarded an OBE from The Queen for services to Health and Medical Education. From setting up the Acute Medical Unit to providing extensive training for doctors, Dr Raza has achieved so much for #TeamRBCH and we are very proud of him.
