    It makes me furious because they keep saying how they were as meek as mice for 8 years under Obama. I've lived thru 12 Presidencies & never saw anything as vile as the abuse the Obamas endured, including Trump's vicious birther campaign which he rode straight to the White House.

    The wording I saw was "took custody of". To me that's disturbingly reminiscent of the 18th century that Johnson speaks of with such nostalgia. You know, the good old days when folks could own other folks?

    As an American whose grandmother immigrated here from Denmark, I too am repulsed by what is happening in my country. Trump, Vance, and Musk seem determined to destroy our nation and all its alliances. It's heartbreaking.

    Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, despite Russian interference & Comey's last-minute sabotage. People who voted third party or stayed home & sulked are refusing to accept any responsibility for Trump's election & subsequent predictable stacking of the Supreme Court.
