It’s been a really awful year in many respects but getting to see that a copy of my cover story on Maggot Brain (which came out toward the end of 2020) made it into George Clinton’s hands was quite the highlight.

- I’m rarely openly a snob like this but I was in a bad mood at work once and tried to explain to my co-workers that I read literature but they read fiction and it was so, so stupid and embarrassing of me. 😭😂One of those daring bookstores that has both a “Literature” section and a “Fiction” section…

The Return was fun in part just seeing who could squeeze themselves into Lynch's filmography. Tim Roth and Jennifer Jason Leigh make sense but also just cool to see Jane Adams and Ernie Hudson - This pic of Kim Gordon shredding at the Louvre is one of my favorite music photos of all time.
