Socializing losses and privatizing profits is not how it's supposed to work. It is surprising the PM, who lived through the global financial crisis, would encourage this moral hazard. But there's more. Rents are falling in many markets. And record supply of rental is coming

Why is our government overpaying for Vancouver condos so Carney’s builder friends can avoid selling for a loss  When thousands of average Canadians have to sell their homes for a loss today Because this government prioritizes Bay Street profits over Canadian households

1867. A country torn apart by revision, now at the crossroads of restoration. Any self-respecting nation fights for its existence. We will keep the promise of 1867. The promise of our founding. And the promise for generations to come.

Spare a thought for the Prime Minister today as the 'forward guidance' regime is dismantled. A devastating day for a founding father.

The Liberals cut off debate, limited committee study, and are trying to retroactively pass bill C-22 without hearing amendments. We support lawful access. We’re ready to pass Part 1 of this bill today, it’s what police chiefs actually asked for. But the Liberals said NO.

Today I introduced my bill to promote medical access to psilocybin (magic mushrooms). Canadians facing mental health challenges, addiction, or PTSD should have the freedom to access safe, medically supervised treatment options.

Today is the final day of the G7. For Mark Carney and the Liberals, the test is simple: did they deliver anything real, or did Canada get downgraded from formal meetings to hallway chats, photo ops, empty handshakes, and meaningless MOUs? Canadian steel, aluminum, forestry, and

🚨The government is moving to shut down lawful access hearings and consideration of amendments on mandatory metadata retention, security backdoors, and weakened encryption today. All amendments to Bill C-22 would be kept secret and voted on without debate.

An Act to amend the Financial Administration Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts (debt forgiveness registry)

Private Member’s Bill C-230 would amend the Financial Administration Act to require the President of the Treasury Board to establish and maintain a public registry of large debts and obligations owed by certain entities to His Majesty — as well as claims against such entities — that have been remitted, forgiven, written off or waived.
