    2,000 Doctors leave Nigeria annually to practice abroad. 1 doctor attends to an approximate 6,000 patients. We need 237,000 doctors but only have 35,000. We need Doctors to have better conditions of service so that they can remain doctors and not Farmers or Politicians.

    In 2004, called my host from Madrid Airport and he said, if you leave now it’s a 6 hour bus trip to Mojácar. You will get here by 8.00 pm. At 8:00 pm the bus stopped at the Bus Terminal. Couldn’t believe it because I come from the land of “Unforeseen Circumstances”

    10 years ago today @elnathan_john and I were about to have breakfast when the editors at @CNN called me from Atlanta saying that the UN Building had been hit by terrorists in Abuja and wanted updates ...we rushed there. The day heralded a new Chapter of terrorism in Nigeria
