00:00 - A great start from the England team. I make it 60 years since we've won a match 4-2 at the World Cup 🏴
- Please see my statement below following the presentation of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill to the House of Commons earlier today. 👇
- Thank you to the @NewsShopper for their coverage of the campaign to ensure routes 96, 428 and 492 serve Bluewater Shopping Centre and Darent Valley Hospital. 👉 Sign the petitionKent ‘Bus Tax’ could put vital Bexleyheath and Crayford routes at risk ift.tt/bh3Gpce
- Our local bus routes to Darent Valley Hospital & Bluewater are under threat. If you want to protect these routes, add your name to my petition today. Kent County Council needs to drop its proposed increased “Bus Tax” to TfL services. 👉Sign the petition
- Daniel Francis MP repostedWhen people show you who they are, believe them. A family was inside the property when it was set alight. Are you going to apologise @Matt_VickersMP?Nowt to see here, just the Tory deputy chairman & vile Kyle joking about arson, with a bit of homophobic banter thrown in. We pay this cretinous oafs wages.
00:00 - Vital bus routes serving Crayford, Darent Valley Hospital and Bluewater are at risk. I’ve written to Crayford’s Reform ward councillors asking them to work with me to press their Reform colleagues in Kent County Council to drop the proposals and protect these bus links.
- Today the Government has announced they will bring forward a social media ban for under-16s. I was proud to be one of a group of MPs who wrote to the Prime Minister back in January calling for a ban, but have pressed for wider consultation to understand the impacts of it.I met with Kanishka Narayan MP, Minister for AI & Online Safety, to present the findings from my recent Bexleyheath & Crayford Social Media survey. You can read the results of my Social Media survey here danielfrancis.uk/social-media-s….There is strong evidence to show that social media is making our children unhappy and unsafe. As the parent of children at secondary school, I welcome the announced ban and welcome that the Government is taking action to better protect our children and young people.
- Daniel Francis MP repostedRoy Hattersley was a giant of the Labour movement. Through decades of service, including as deputy leader and a minister, he never lost his belief in a more equal Britain. My thoughts are with his wife Maggie and his family.
- Daniel Francis MP repostedIt was described as the “safest and most robust assisted dying legislation” by **supporters** of the Bill. Not a single Royal Medical College OR Professional Body in this country will say the Bill is safe. Let alone it being the “safest”.🚨 BREAKING: The Assisted Dying Bill will be reintroduced to Parliament next week by Labour MP Lauren Edwards
- Daniel Francis MP reposted🚨 Dodgy High Street Traders Beware! 🚨 The days of criminals hiding behind a shop front are over. You will be caught. ❌ We’re cracking down on criminal activity on our high streets, including: ✅ The launch of a new 350-strong unit to tackle tax evasion among small
00:00 - I said in last week’s petition debate, there remain flaws relating to mental capacity & protection for people with learning disabilities in the Assisted Dying Bill passed by the Commons last year - hansard.parliament.uk/Commons/2026-0… I’ll continue to argue this if the Bill is brought back.
