The mistake are thinking the tariffs are the goal. They aren’t. The goal is no tariffs. The tariffs are designed to get every other country to the table talking about renegotiating our trade agreements.

We use plenty of multithreading in gamedev but we do also tend to have a game loop thread (usually the main application process thread) which works as you describe because you absolutely have to have your new state locked in going into frame render.

I try to always give such ones the benefit of the doubt and assume the negative behaviors are downstream of psychiatric disorders, abuse, substance addiction, dietary imbalance - symptoms of not having a healthy mind. Either way, the solution is the same: institutionalization.
