- Fell asleep on my sofa after a pleasant home cooked dinner, woke up thinking my husband and daughter were there, went to greet them.. Ken died in 2014 and Kate September last year. Came to bed at 8.30. Feeling bereft. Valentine love to all those in the same situation. 💔💔
- Tonight at 8.22pm, my beloved daughter, Kate, died in my arms after an aggressive attack by an incurable and swift cancer. 12 weeks from start to finish, so completely unexpected and I’m heartbroken.
- Ok so I have now reached Chap 37. First I must comment on the excellent narration on The audible audiobook version. Secondly I will admit to storming round my kitchen yelling ‘how could she’. How could he have done that to his family, the biatche etc.. 😳 I believe every word!

- Replying to @danwoottonMay I also express pity for people like me, at 76, with a limited life time remaining, who have been unable to see their children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters who live overseas. My ticket was bought at the beginning of 2020, no sign of using it yet.
- Am I alone in detesting the constant media chatter about what is to happen when the queen dies? She must be horribly affected by the debate about who is going to live where, be queen or even if the monarchy is to survive her. She is 95, and healthy for her age. not time to go.
