And that's fine as well. Healing arrives for everyone. One day it is "no contact" and then one year later, you can't remember why you liked them in the first place. There's no shame in being attached to another person. Human attachment is a core part of being human.

Abuse is community effort. Abusers would not be so brazen if they were working alone. They are as brazen as they are bcos they know they have a whole community of pple behind them. They exist as they do bcos they know their victims are always going to be bullied for speaking up.

If you knew how expensive treating mental health is, you would never play with your sanity. We live in a country that doesn't prioritize mental health. If your family cannot afford to pay 30k per night at one of those private clinics, leave tripping/spirituality alone.

Naomi has lived with depression since the 2018 US Open, long before the baby or her relationship with that man, but they ignore that as well bcos recognizing her humanity in its fullness would mean they can't use her name as a cautionary tale when spreading anti-baby propaganda.

Most people will tell you they are still depending on their parents and it sucks bcos their parents were already married & working by their age. The only thing that will save our generation is a working/promising country. Resilience cannot override a deep sense of purposelessnes.

I don't know why African men usually forget they aren't rich white men. If you used this analogy to describe slave trade/colonization, you would realize you are not exempt from violence nor are you the main perpetrator of it. Even among men, there's no equality.

Asking for the other other side of the story, asking what a victim did to provoke their abuser, asking why it took the victim so long to speak up, are all ways in which people support abusers and thus enabling them further. Abuse is community effort and we see it here daily.
