We're cooking up a new feature: reactive SQL, powered by @duckdb . Use SQL to query @pandas_dev or @DataPolars dataframes; marimo makes the result available in a new Python variable that you can use in other cells.

Sharing notebooks with data files is far harder than it should be. That's why we're announcing a new way to share Python notebooks hosted on @github: Open any @marimo_io or @Jupyter notebook in an online playground, with the repo cloned into its filesystem, with just 1 click!

We added gamepad support for Python! It sounds like a party-trick, we know, but it turns out that it's a pretty darn useful feature if you want to do make evals more fun. You can make a notebook update with this, which is awesome for annotation interfaces!

💡Tuesday Tip! marimo ships with a no-code dataframe transformer: filter, sort, and aggregate rows with an intuitive UI. marimo even generates the Python code required to reproduce the transformation. Just wrap your dataframe in mo.ui.dataframe() to get started.
