- The CDC recommends you bust your ass out of the box and make hard turns around 1st on base hits to the OF.

- Take pride in doing the "little things" correctly at practice, today and everyday. Always remember that the little things become BIG THINGS in big time situations. Champions take care of the little things. #DoYourJob
- Pitchers (especially at the amateur level) need to repeat one phrase to themselves when they toe the rubber: ATTACK THE STRIKE ZONE. If you can consistently work ahead in counts you will be successful. Successful = Give your team a chance to win. Read swings. Offset timing.
- The talent that D2 and D3 ⚾️ schools are currently landing is more proof of the talent shift that is taking place in college baseball. The “D1 or bust” mentality is beat. Get up to speed or get left behind.
- I want a roster of dudes who love to dive and get dirty. I’d rather ask a kid why he dove rather than why he didn’t. I can work with those guys.

- Hey pitchers...on EVERY pass ball you should be sprinting home, pointing to and yelling the location of the ball. Who cares where the runners are. Its a good habit to have and will be the difference between wins and losses in the long run.
- Just a little reminder: Just because the season is/has started doesn’t mean you abandon the weight room. Don’t lose what you busted your tail for this off-season!
- College ⚾️ hopefuls: Get an idea of what schools are a good fit and try to attend their prospect camps! Use the down time in August and the fall to get on your prospective school’s radar! The majority of college rosters are full of players who attended their camp!
- Hit the weights. Be prepared. College baseball, regardless of the level, is Big Boy Ball. Please tell HS seniors to hit the weight room and understand time management!
