hi!! welcome to my shitposting account. all opinions here are the beliefs of my employer @BurgerKing
during the pandemic, i had a lot of free time and decided i'd make "learning to cook" my goal for the lockdown. some ~3 weeks in, i decide to try making pizza. the online recipe calls for "four cloves of garlic". what's a "clove"? i have no idea. i added four heads of garlic.
- Replying to @nobody_what's unfortunate is that this is simply, hands down the greatest pizza that i have ever had in my life. but let me tell you: in a month that almost entirely consisted of people panicking, screaming, and dying - i'm pretty sure this pizza is 90% of what kept me mentally sane.
- Replying to @adrusiyes, and retrospectively i'm kind of amazed that it wasn't overwhelmingly garlicky- i think maybe because there were a bunch of really strong, rich flavors for it to bounce off of: handmade buttery crust, a cheese blend of high-quality cheeses, a mixture of fresh tomatoes & paste

- Replying to @TheOldSchoolLibvery much so! i think it helped that the garlic all went into the sauce, so it was first sautéed, then possibly boiled down in the sauce, and then baked extensively - giving it a lot of time for all of the more astringent flavors to mellow out a bit.

- sometimes i feel like people forget that the really bad thing about the nazis wasn't the racism or even the dictatorship but like, the murder. the many, many murders. the sheer lack of regard for the value of human life. leading to the thing that is bad: murder.of all the grotesque developments in modern culture, the fandom culture that's risen up around a murderer is perhaps the one that leaves the worst taste in my mouth the half-trolling-Nazi-salutes from the right are gross and bad. murder fan club is worse. simply reprehensible
