- I am very confused here. Canada has not disclosed an official budget since the disastrous one in April 2024. How is it acceptable to wait 18 months for the next one despite the same government in power. - Note to all levels of government in Canada. Knock it off with the “advantage” of cheap tech labour!! We have outstanding tech talent and we need to scale-up so we can compete effectively for talent. We are not a branch plant economy!!!Part of the problem is that some tech leaders and politicians list lower salaries in Canada as a selling feature to attract big foreign tech giants to locate here. Great if we want to build a branch plant economy, not so great if we want to grow GDP meaningfully and prosper
