Yes. As depressing as the EU regulatory environment is, the cultural atmosphere is worse. Lack of ambition, arrogance, scepticism our outright hatred of success, etc. - makes me sad to see such incredible potential go to waste
There is nothing inherent in Reddit's business model that prevents it from being profitable. It's a website with community moderation & content. It's just severely mismanaged.
Why? The expectation that you could make a product that's used by billions of people every day without having any negative consequences, is deeply unserious. Are CEOs of car manufacturers confronted with the families of victims of speeding and forced to apologize for their death?

If you love the fundamentals, but want to improve some specifics, that's healthy (e.g. Arnold). However, if you hate the fundamentals, and want to change several of those, then you're in the wrong place and what Apoorva said applies.
