    To clarify, Israel’s claim is nonsense Israel’s justification for illegally occupying Syria’s Golan Heights since 1967 is that it acts as “buffer zone” from a strategic high ground They don’t need a “buffer zone” to defend a “buffer zone” they’ve illegally occupied for 57 years

    42% of French voters backed a party founded by a neo-Nazi convicted of Holocaust denial. The threat to Western liberalism comes from its fascists not migrants. Once again a French leader pandered to fascists & then begged voters to save France from fascism & fascists made gains.

    Numbers like these will deter the sick from coming forward, hoping they can ride this out at home. This a public health emergency and the US government must guarantee that everyone can be treated for free. People with symptoms fearing coming forward threatens everyone's safety.

    Arab Christians are often used by autocrats seeking to justify their brand of repression. We've regularly shown ourselves to be woven into the fabrics of our societies. The threats ahead are real, but so is hope for a better future as part of our societies, not apart from them.

    That isn't what data shows. Exit polls show clearly most Democrats want single payer healthcare. They just don't believe they can have it & fears about electability, whether well-founded or a product of effective spin in the press, convinced them they can't so they vote centrist

    There’s a whole group of people who’ve been profoundly and utterly wrong about the Dem party and what it wants for 5 years. Despite all the evidence of 2018, they created a false narrative that very left policies would drive turnout and win the majority. None of it has been true

    You can't kill over 50 protestors, wound roughly 2000 of them while sustaining ZERO injuries yourself & then pretend to be a victim engaged in legal proportional use of force. That's not rational. Anyone able to suspend reason enough to believe that needs to examine their biases.
