Concerning information coming out of Commons. DWP lead suggesting removing PIP from working people. @vickyfoxcroft what is happening? This would force more people onto benefit and out of work. Me included. Iβm ready for direct action if this is tried #DisabilityTwitter

- Chronic pain: itβs weird how accustomed I am now to pain. What made me cry just 6-8 months ago is now major discomfort. Do others adjust like this too? #NEISvoid #DisabilityTwitter
- I just want to thank @Apple for another accessibility win. When using their maps I can now select βno stairsβ which is revolutionary for navigating London. Now for a wheelchair/powerchair option instead of walking ππ #AccessWin #DisabilityTwitter #Happy
- The irony of #DisabilityPrideMonth coming directly after #PrideMonth is not lost on me. Considering #DisabledPeople are still largely unable to #Access Prides and queer venues. I look forward to the day #QueerDisabled are included and #LGBTQ+ people learn abt #DisabilityRights
- Because itβs literally the cheapest therapy to offer with least requirements for expensive training.
- Hi @asda I went to your Roehampton store today. I have a question, what are your rules on who is allowed to push trolleys? You see, I saw children pushing them in very haphazard ways and yet I, as an adult, was told I cannot use a trolley as I only have one hand to push it with!!
- Hi @ODEONCinemas I was looking to book a wheelchair space in the cinema, just me, and the Cinemas I looked at want to charge me over Β£20 for special seating (recliners) when Iβm providing my own chair!! This canβt be right. Surely I should be charged for film w/o recliner?!
- Yesterday I was left on a train at Waterloo by @SW_Help I was lucky I had someone with me who found an off duty guard to help after around 10+ minutes. (Thanks James). I pressed emergency button and no staff available to help. Was pretty frightening that this happens.
- Replying to @PatrickFlanThis is why, as a powerchair user, Iβve specifically been advised to never fly with my wheelchair but hire one at my destination! Itβs disgusting this is allowed to happen, and on such a regular basis!! I hope someone can help with a workable solution x
- Replying to @MichaelGrimmett and @love_prezzoIβm not sure whether Iβm more outraged by your treatment or the radio silence of @love_prezzo. Outrageous!
- Response from @asda is that I use a scooter (itβs a powerchair) which is very fast (limited to 3.9mph) and that they didnβt think I could control it. Store manager says they would also say I canβt use a small trolley, as they donβt believe a wheelchair user can operate it.Hi @asda I went to your Roehampton store today. - This tweet is Everything thatβs wrong and demonstrates the ableism from cyclists quite perfectly. No there isnβt an adaptive bike for everyone and cost means most disabled people canβt afford them anyway! Or does it come with all the other free stuff ppl think we get but donβt!This Post is from an account that no longer exists. Learn more
- Love this. Iβve had a physio tell me I should concentrate on walking more as the world would be more accessible than using my wheelchair! I mean really?? I can walk about 10-15 metres before I run out of energy or body collapses. Not sure access would matter as Iβd be housebound!
- So this happened at Victoria station. Sat on the platform for 15 minutes for the @SouthernRailUK train with booked assistance. But they couldnβt let me on as no confirmation they could get me off. Now having to wait for next train #DisabilityTwitter
