    The #DavisFire is expected to move significantly tomorrow, 9/11. Take this seriously. If you receive the notice to evacuate, don't wait. The best scenario is that the fire models are wrong, but we want to be prepared. @CityofReno @RenoFireDept @TMFPD @HumboldtToiyabe

    Never a dull moment: Washoe County Building Inspector Chis McMillan was about to go into the crawl space of a house in Incline Village to conduct a building-permit inspection when a 500-lb bear came running out. We're not sure who was more surprised, the bear or Chris.

    We are receiving a lot of calls about snow berms in front of driveways. Our plow drivers try to avoid creating berms, but with this heavy, wet snow, it peels off the plow blade in a way that the drivers can't control. We know it's an inconvenience.
