- Baltimore's progressive mayor Brandon Scott took a public health approach to violence prevention, and the city is on track to have its smallest number of murders and shootings in 60 years. This is huge for Baltimore.Still far to go, but clear progress in Baltimore
- It's funny how interstellar is billed as hard sci-fi because they went all in on animating the black hole and gesture at relativity but there's not a single plot element that actually makes sensesince its release 10 years ago in october 2014, only an hour and 16 minutes have passed on miller’s planet in interstellar

- Part of why you don't hear about 3D printing so much anymore is that the reasonable optimists were right and it's become a mundane part of the manufacturing toolkitUkraine received 3D printers from the USA for printing parts for military equipment.
