Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of AIMAPER at aimaper.com (the “Site”), an online directory of artificial intelligence (AI) tools. The Site is operated by Nkelani Studio, based in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Acceptance of These Terms

1.1 By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1.2 If you use the Site on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Use of the Site

2.1 The Site lets you browse, search and compare listings of AI tools by category, pricing model and use case, and read our blog. Most of the Site can be used without an account.

2.2 You may use the Site for your personal or internal business purposes, in line with these Terms and applicable law.

2.3 We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Site at any time, including listings, categories and features.

3. Accounts

3.1 You can optionally register or sign in with an email address. An account lets you bookmark, like and rate tools. To rate tools, you must first verify your email address with the 6-digit code we send you.

3.2 You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3.3 You agree to give accurate information, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3.4 Each person may hold only one account. You may not create accounts to manipulate ratings or likes.

3.5 You can ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us.

4. User Submissions and Reviews

4.1 “User Content” means anything you submit to the Site, including ratings, reviews, tool submissions, descriptions, logos, images and messages.

4.2 Ratings and reviews must be honest and reflect your own genuine experience or opinion. You must not:

  • rate or review a tool you own, work for or are paid by, or rate a competitor’s tool to harm it;
  • offer or accept payment, discounts or other rewards for ratings or reviews;
  • post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, hateful, obscene or unlawful;
  • post personal information about other people, spam or links to malicious websites.

4.3 When you submit a tool through our submission page, you confirm that the information is accurate, that you are authorized to submit it, and that you have the right to let us use any name, logo, screenshots or text you provide.

4.4 You keep ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, host, display, edit, adapt, translate and publish it on the Site and in materials promoting the Site, for as long as it remains on the Site and for a reasonable time after.

4.5 We may review, edit, decline, hide or remove any User Content, or a tool submission, at our discretion and without notice, including content we believe breaks these Terms. Submitting a tool does not guarantee that it will be listed or kept on the Site.

4.6 Ratings and reviews are the opinions of the users who post them, not of AIMAPER. We do not verify every rating or review.

5. Tool Listings and Sponsored Placements

5.1 Tool listings are provided for general information only. Descriptions are summaries prepared from tool makers’ submissions and our own research. Pricing, features, availability and other details can change at any time, and listings may be incomplete or out of date. Always check the official website of a tool before relying on it or paying for it.

5.2 A listing on the Site is not an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee of any tool, company or product. Unless we clearly say otherwise, we have not tested the tools listed.

5.3 Tool makers can pay for sponsored or featured placement through our sponsorship page. Paid placements, including listings marked with “Featured” or “Sponsored” badges, are paid advertising. We label them so that visitors can see that the placement was paid for. A paid badge means the tool maker has bought a placement; it does not mean we have tested, approved or endorsed the tool.

5.4 Payment does not buy positive reviews, ratings or editorial opinions. We may refuse or remove any sponsored placement that is misleading, unlawful or against these Terms.

5.5 The price, duration and other details of each sponsorship are set out on the sponsorship page or in the order or written confirmation we send you. Those details form part of your agreement with us together with these Terms.

5.6 If you are a tool maker and believe information about your tool is wrong, please contact us and we will review it.

6. Outbound Links and Third-Party Websites

6.1 The Site contains “Visit Website” links and other links to third-party websites, as well as third-party ads. Some outbound links include tracking parameters (such as utm parameters) that tell the destination site that you came from AIMAPER.

6.2 We do not control third-party websites, tools or ads and are not responsible for their content, products, services, pricing, security or privacy practices. Your use of any third-party website or tool is at your own risk and is governed by that party’s own terms and policies.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 The Site, including its design, text, blog articles, category structure, compilations of listings, graphics and the AIMAPER name and logo, is owned by or licensed to Nkelani Studio and is protected by intellectual property laws.

7.2 Names, logos and trademarks of listed tools belong to their respective owners and are used on the Site only to identify those tools. Their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those owners.

7.3 You may view and share links to pages of the Site and quote short extracts with a link back to the Site. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or sell substantial parts of the Site or its database without our written permission.

7.4 If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, please contact us with details and we will review it promptly.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • use the Site in any way that breaks the law or the rights of others;
  • scrape, crawl, copy or harvest listings, reviews or user data by automated means, except for search engines indexing the Site in line with our robots.txt file;
  • manipulate ratings, likes, bookmarks, clicks or rankings, including by using bots or multiple accounts;
  • click on ads, or encourage others to click on ads, in an artificial or fraudulent way;
  • upload viruses or malicious code, or try to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers or other users’ accounts;
  • interfere with or overload the Site or its security features;
  • impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your connection to a tool or company;
  • use the Site to send spam or unsolicited advertising.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 The Site and all content on it are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the Site or its content, including about accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

9.2 We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or free from errors, or that any listing, description, price or rating is accurate or current.

9.3 Nothing on the Site is legal, financial, technical or other professional advice. You are responsible for deciding whether a tool is suitable for you.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nkelani Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business, arising from or related to your use of the Site, any listing or any third-party website or tool.

10.2 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the Site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and (b) USD 100.

10.3 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for intentional or grossly negligent acts.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nkelani Studio from any claims, losses, damages and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your User Content, your tool submission or sponsored placement, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

12. Termination

12.1 We may suspend or close your account, or block your access to the Site, at any time if we reasonably believe you have broken these Terms or the law, or to protect the Site or other users.

12.2 You may stop using the Site at any time and ask us to delete your account.

12.3 Sections 4.4, 7, 9, 10, 11 and 14 continue to apply after termination.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, give notice on the Site or by email to registered users. If you keep using the Site after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

14.1 These Terms, and any dispute arising from or related to them or the Site, are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

14.2 The courts of Amman, Jordan, have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.

15. General

15.1 If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.

15.2 If we do not enforce a right under these Terms, that does not mean we waive it.

15.3 These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any sponsorship order or confirmation, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.

15.4 These Terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version prevails.
