Vesselina. 27. Cynic with an optimistic streak. Fangirl extraordinaire. Obsessive procrastinator. Foreign Relations and Diplomacy Student. Enjoys fandom and its dynamics, media and politics. Detests bigotry, stupidity and people being wrong on the internets.
Started her fannish life as aurora_84 in the QAF (US) fandom, back in 2004. Started out in QAF US fandom in 2004. Moved on because said show ended in a debacle. Is still incredibly grateful for all the friendships QAF has brought her. Had the most amazing time of her fannish life in SGA fandom between 2005 and 2009. Slowly moved on because said show ended in a debacle, but will forever love her SGA flist. Was obsessing over Star Trek XI/Reboot and more specifically Star Trek RPS during the second half of '09 (all Zachary Quinto's fault!). Will probably go through a Pinto revival once the second ST movie starts shooting. Somehow slipped into figure skating fandom after the '10 Vancouver Olympics; sparkles and shiny skaters were too much to resist. Fangirls the hell out of Stéphane Lambiel, Daisuke Takahashi, Johnny Weir. Loved the hell out of Evan Lysacek up until he decided to be huge dick. :( Also managed to, for a little while, get sucked into American Idol RPS in the spring of '10. Had a short-but-intense fling with Inception in the summer of 2010.
Is currently having a can-this-really-be-called-a-fling-after-fourteen-months with The Social Network. Andrew Garfield's ridiculousness is almost entirely to blame for this. Also: &Jesse Eisenberg;.
No clue about her next fannish infatuation. Stay tuned!
Also dabbled in Heroes, Prison Break, Jossverse, LOST, The Daily Show/The Colbert Report, The Fast & The Furious, and a few other fandoms, but to a lesser extent. Generally has one primary fandom (in casu: TSN) and plenty of fandom-whorish tendencies.
