Vanya plans for her holiday gifts way in advance, partly because she worries and partly because she gives gifts to so many people. Each gift she gives this year is accompanied by a handmade card with a photograph she took inside. Each photo was picked out specifically for the recipient and Vanya searched through her hundreds of pictures for the "perfect" photograph for each person. There is also a CD of her playing music (Babs helped her with this project) on both her violin and guitar. The gifts are also all wrapped very carefully with construction paper and ribbons.

The majority of her gifts are handmade (it is a good thing people have taught her how to knit, bake, sew, and draw/paint since she arrived in Camp) though this year she did earn some money as Rex's assistant and she was excited to be able to use it to buy gifts for those people that are harder for her to think of good gifts to make for!

I'd love to thread any of these out, so let me know if you want to! I'll be putting up a post in her journal later tonight for such threads to save community posts from Vanya gift-giving spam! Also, It is HIGHLY likely that I left someone out and please tell me if I did, because Vanya definitely wouldn't and I want to make sure she doesn't!

Since I am already having trouble remembering to note this in comments, I figured an announcement post would be necessary. The fourth wall event was kind of intense for Vanya (also amazing amounts of fun for me!), so there are a few changes that are going to become apparent, especially to anyone that threads with her a lot. Two of these are appearance changes making all of her icons a lie and the other is extremely spoilery


SO, in case you don't want to read all of the long explanation and want to avoid spoilers, the changes that everyone will notice are: 1)Vanya no longer has her mask and thus she won't be wearing it, 2)She has red streaks in her hair, 3) She learned some very interesting and spoilery things about herself from one of her brothers during the fourth wall event, and 4) She was told that she won't be able to be a superhero when she goes to Gotham, but she's still going to be trying to think of ways to change people's minds about that!

Again, the biggest change is: Vanya no longer has her mask and won't be wearing it for awhile! I am going to try to remember to put it in the comment the first time I thread her mask-less with any character, but after that I don't want to annoy people by always mentioning it. If I still forget, I apologize and until I put up a post saying she's wearing her mask again, please assume she doesn't have it on.

I'm likely going to be making a main community post dealing with most of these new developments tonight, and again spoilers will be rampant in that post! If you thread with Vanya a lot and want to avoid spoilers, please, please, please let me know and I will figure out a way to make that happen. Thanks in advance for dealing with Vanya's now inaccurate icons and the complicated spoiler situation!

(follow up from this thread! Also of note is that Vanya left a note on the Sunny asking them to take care of her pets for her, but not specifying why! Residents of the Sunny, feel free to notice that she's gone.)

So, I'm just going to post this and hope it'll end the constant freaked out state I've been in since Friday night. This should really go in a Chicken Soup sort of post, but I'm always completely fine when those go up and have massive issues a few weeks later, so I guess I'll put it here because there's no way I can be this stressed for a few months until the next post goes up.

When the CR meme came along a week or two ago, I didn't comment and figured I'd wait until after apps and put one in my brand new character's journal since I was so excited at the prospect of playing him! But then apps happened and things did not go nearly as well as I planned and I'm now feeling very unsure. This is why I haven't really revealed, so I guess this is also me officially admitting that I have a third character now and hoping someone's excited to play with him. Of course you are more than welcome to request CR with the other two! I just want to play with people!

( This is one part jumping meme, one part sotu, and one part super nervous character reveal, I guess. It also ended up ridiculously long as usual! Sorry! )

And for anyone that doesn't want to read about my current line-up stress, the point of this post is basically if you have a character you want to play with Vanya, Jasper and/or Cinna that would be awesome and amazing! Comment and I will make sure that threading happens! Every thread I've ever had at Camp has been so much fun and I want to continue having fun with all of you if you'll still have me!

Vanya got one day of vacation and spent it in Gotham visiting Damian and making sure he really did remember her. Rico helped her get to Gotham, since she was terrified to go there all by herself in case Damian didn't remember, but Damian did and awesome times were had! She also got to see Dick and meet Alfred and is feeling a whole lot better about being welcome in Gotham when she does get to go there permanently.

Vanya took lots and lots of pictures and had a whole list of things she wanted to do (and actually got to do them!) and anyone in Camp that stands still long enough next to her will likely hear all about it! Vanya's bringing back a few souvenirs for Babs, Tim, Violet, and Hit-Girl and also asked to be able to buy herself (very, very reluctantly) a nice photo album to put all of her pictures and a stuffed bat. She also brought gifts for people in Gotham, bringing Damian the jetpack Violet was making him and bringing ice cream for everyone else!

Basically, Vanya's returning to Camp quite a bit happier knowing that she's still wanted in Gotham! And she's probably already planning her vacation for next year!

ETA: this post will now also serve as a post-vacation threading space as well!

Finally finished Vanya's holiday gift list! It is ridiculously long, mainly because Vanya gives a lot of gifts... sort of. The thing is, Vanya will only give gifts to someone if she thinks they won't make fun of her gift and would actually want a gift from her, so getting a gift from Vanya is a sign that she trusts you.

All of her gifts are handmade and come with personalized handmade cards and they are wrapped in paper she's decorated with glitter and such! She's been working on her gifts for everyone since the start of November, because she knew she was going to have to make a lot! Vanya doesn't expect to get gifts from all of the people she's giving gifts to, and would be completely overwhelmed if she did! She was actually really confused last Christmas by all the people giving each other gifts, but this year she's determined not to forget anyone!

HOWEVER, I have likely forgotten someone that I shouldn't have, and if you think that someone is one of your characters please let me know and you will be added to the list at once! I'm so, so sorry in advance if I forgot you! ((Also the list is in no particular order, because trying to organize it alphabetically epically failed... and again, sorry that it soo long!))
