• Started watching Lanterns, it got me hooked! Pretty much a space detective kinda story. A few scenes felt a bit too much but I like it
• My parents picked me up from work, so I made it home early
• I ate a donut :3

• I had a lot of fun making progress in Ocarina of Time and also started a new two-player game: Kirby and The Forgotten Land
• Had some fried chicken for lunch which is always a treat
• It's been two weeks since I've been phone-less and it's nice not to get spam calls, actually

• Today was the first time I actually reached my YouTube limit in the whole week, it was only because of a podcast while I was mopping the floor and cleaning the whole house (should have used AntennaPod for that!)
• Had an outdoor BBQ for lunch and had some friends come over too!
• Later in the evening I went out with my church's youth group for a coffee, had a fun time!

I was trimming my beard earlier this morning and my shaving machine ran out of battery halfway through...

I would end up late for work so I had to go out like that

It wasn't a full shave, just a bit of length. I only shaved the bottom area and it's not super noticeable but I honestly felt very self-conscious about it all day long LOL

Going back home to fix it up now

My mom, absolutely out of nowhere, asked me if I had any recommendations for a sci-fi book to read. I think she made a friend on her trip who told her sci-fi is actually pretty good and talks a lot about human nature and morals and worldviews and the things beyond cool aliens and lasers (though I love those too)

I felt a side of her was a little judgy with me because of my liking for that instead of non-fiction works, but I guess she doesn't mind now!

I of course had many options to offer, but not many physical books in Spanish, which is what she reads.

So she's going to read Brave New World by Aldous Huxley now. I hope she gets it because I actually haven't read it myself either LOL
