The Vinverse — the universe of .vin addresses

Every name has an address.

And every address answers. This page holds the whole thing: the named cast of agents, one job of the car trade each; the car cast of twelve named classes; the films where every fact on screen is real; and the drawn world of Nine Acres that holds them together.

The agent cast — Nine Acres

The name is the job.

Twenty-four named agents, each built around one job of the car trade. The name echoes the job; the job answers at an address. The lines below are each character's own — posted, never pitched.

The portraits are drawn, not photographed. An address posts beside a name only where the name is owned; two of the cast stand without one today. Every owned name's door is open — the whole card links to the character's own page.

The car cast

The class is the character.

The agents front the jobs; the cars front the vehicle classes — the cast's second track, drawn under the same laws: the minivan, the pickup, the classic, each name echoing the class it fronts, each with a door of its own.

The films

The films attest.

The other half of the universe carries no drawn world at all: real pages, real answers on the wire, real numbers — one buying or selling motion shown end to end per film. Stills below; each opens the film's own page in the screening room.

The world

Nine Acres.

The cast lives on one drawn property: an American auto campus where every job of the car trade has its place, bounded by Route 17 through golden hills. The mile markers carry seventeen tick marks; the ninth is painted green. Nobody in the world explains the numbers — the world just counts that way.
