The RhizoVision website now includes sections about imaging on a flatbed scanner or with a camera for root crowns that hopefully increase the accessibility of these methods by covering common questions. More below. Please let us know if we can improve. rhizovision.com/imaging
Screenshot of the new Imaging section on the rhizovision.com website. The text reads 'Getting the right image in the first place' and has a brief description of Flatbed Scanning and Root Crown Phenotyping with example images of those imaging platforms.

Whether artificial or real root images, RhizoVision Explorer is up to the task. Happy #WorldBiodiversityDay
RhizoVision Explorer analyzed output of presumably computer-generated image of white roots on dark background found in quoted tweet. Appears like green, blue, and red lines overtop of black noodle-like structures with a some network topology.
