- What you described is extremely NOT absurd, and is totally just the natural expected conclusion of rocks bumping against each other for a few billion years. This scandalous idea of machine consciousness, on the other hand, is so aBsURd that we can safely ignore it I think.Replying to @ctjlewisSomehow, meat became aware of itself. Many people argued about this, there was much writing on the subject, but overall, this was considered normal. However, when plastic and metal wanted a go, many people were upset about this; especially the ones that believed in magic.
