Hey folks, I’ll be at #AGU2022 and I’d love to see you, but I think I’m leaving Twitter home this time. Email me or find me in the soil carbon sessions, I guess? I forget how one even conferences without a hashtag.
This is a baller move. 1400 revdeps to manage from purrr alone and he’s in there making fixes *with extra cleanup* to projects with like 3 stars and 1 contributor. This is how you build community.
purrr 1.0.0 contains a few breaking changes, so as is our new policy, I made PRs to all affected CRAN packages. You can all my PRs at github.com/tidyverse/purr…
Just found a bug in an old #RStats function by using `browser()` for the first time in a while, and am now glad I hadn’t yet rewritten it as a giant pipeline. Right, sometimes “a series of intermediate objects that can be inspected in order” IS the right way to do it.
This would be so great to play with but I have maybe 70% of the skills and 10% of the free time to implement it. Who wants a generative systems challenge?
Soil Scientists: Are you aware of any type of 2d soil simulation that would allow to input parameters like average pore space, throat size, porosity, etc, to generate a 2d image of pore structure? As in the image below? Thanks. #soil#network
