FIRST Jobs: TechBOOST

1. Use your Employer  Dashboard to register your company. You cannot create a job listing without first registering your company

2. Create a “Job Listing” based on the project that you applied with.

• The more detailed your description is, the better chance you have for qualified candidates to apply.
  Include an email address for candidates to send you resumes directly
• It may be helpful to consider the work term as a short-term project

When creating your listing, remember to include the following information:

• Project length using “Job Type” (200 or 100 hours)
• Work schedule (full-time or part-time, hours per week expectation)
• Remote or on-site expectations

3.  Students/New Graduates will now apply to your listing. You can view their resumes in the “Resume” tab of your dashboard.

*Please only contact candidates using the contact information from their resume, NOT through the portal messaging service. 

4.  Interview your top candidates for the role.

5.  Email [email protected] to finalize your hire. (Students found externally to the job board must register through the program to confirm their eligibility)

Information regarding reimbursements can be found in the “Resources” tab.

1. Create your profile on the Jobseeker Dashboard.
2. You may upload multiple resumes to your profile. You will choose which resume you apply with. It is good practice to tweak your resume for each job you apply for.
3. You may apply to as many positions as you’d like, but may only accept one position through the program.
4. When creating your resume, ensure that you include a title. This allows you to select your resume when applying for jobs.
5. If a company wants to schedule an interview, they will contact you directly
