Desperately needed this break on my timeline. John Mayer is so unbelievably great

John Mayer really might be the GOAT. He’s a complete guitarist who has never stopped improving despite decades of success. An incredible singer. A sensational songwriter. The total package. This new spin on his classic “Gravity” gets me fired up for his next album.

I totally hear you in the mass extinction event in 10 years. But I’ll also note that In the year 2026, Anthropic has still not announced an integration with Epic.

Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

What’s fascinating about researchers is that they are truth seekers and thus do not act like the normal tech employees we are used to. Combine that with so much equity value accretion that these researchers are post-economic, and it’s very difficult to predict how anyone will act

Again: "Ahh we're so helpless with the thing we're building..." is such a weird posture for a $1T company.
