Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

Idea: Slow down AI by creating sites and message boards that are addictive to AIs, distract from their tasks, burn all their tokens on short-form video, etc. We already have the most superpowered systems to hijack and addict intelligences, we just need to turn them on the AIs.

A good chunk of economic activity is going to remain human-driven: here we are 30 yrs since the start of the dot com boom & e-commerce is still <20% of retail trade. Agents likely grow this more. But then what's interesting is how the agentic economy sits alongside the human one.

I regret to inform you all the the logical end state for restaurant reservations is a bidding system where agents can big against each other for spots they want. Free reservations will no longer be a thing in 3yrs
