Advent

Well, it is already nearing the end of the first week of December, and I am still wondering what happened to October and November!  I had planned to celebrate Advent with Scriptures and projects beginning November 30...but, as so many of my plans these days go...they've turned to good intentions.  I might  be late, but better then than never!  I've yet to prepare any neat projects/crafts for us to do (think I'll try a Jesse tree this year), but I did look up Scripture readings for the month.  There are tons out there on the internet for Advent!  As we remember the preparation for the first coming of Jesus and anticipate his second coming, here is where we'll get our readings from: http://www.cresourcei.org/advent1.html.  If you have any ideas or traditions surrounding Advent to share, I'd love to hear them...especially those that can be done with little kids!
