Anyway, hope you are doing well. Recently, I attended the launch of Payot Expert Purete. Payot Expert Purete range is designed to help combination/ oily skin achieve clear, purified and radiant skin. Payot Expert Purete is formulated and tested under dermatological control and it is non comedogenic.

MASQUE PURIFIANT (50ml) RM150 (WM)/ RM158 (EM) COMPLETE ULTRA-HIGH PERFORMANCE FORMULA

Cream mask texture with exfoliating grains.

Double action: used as a mask, this product matifies and smoothes skin texture.

As an exfoliator, it thoroughly unclogs and purifies the skin.

→ ASTRINGENT AND PURIFYING ACTION

Chilean mint extract: Regulates seborrhea. Prevents the appearance of inflammation that leads to cutaneous imperfections.

Zinc Extract: Deep-cleanses the epidermis. Limits sebaceous secretion and normalises sebum levels.

→ PURIFYING ACTION

Kaolin, strong absorbing white clay that deep cleanses, purifies and matifies the skin.

→ EXFOLIATING ACTION

7% AHA esters, which provide cutaneous micro-exfoliation, help smooth skin surface and visibly eliminate imperfections.

Exfoliating beads that rid the skin of impurities and dead cells by exfoliating and unclogging the pores.

Beauty Advice:

As a mask: apply a thin layer to the face. Leave to act for 5 minutes, then rinse.

As an exfoliator: apply to a damp face, massage in then rinse.

Avoid all contact with eyes. During sun exposure, combine with suitable sun protection.

CREME MATIFIANTE (50ml) RM195 (WM)/ RM205 (EM) ULTRA-HIGH PERFORMANCE FORMULA THAT ENVELOPS THE SKIN WITH EFFECTIVENESS

Complete care that helps fights against shine and dilated pores. Day after day, excess sebum is regulated, the complexion becomes clearer and skin regains all its radiance. A fluid, light and velvety smooth cream and genuine skin perfector.

My thoughts:

Of all the products, I am particularly in love with the MASQUE PURIFIANT. Why? It’s simply because I only need 5 mins and while removing the mask I can scrub my face at the same time. For the lazy girls out there, there is no excuse to apply this 2 in 1 mask. The smell is also very pleasant and relaxing.

Relocation of SkinFood KLCC

Dear Friends

On 3rd Aug 2013, SkinFood KLCC has been relocated to Lot 228B Level 2 , KLCC. It was a nice lot and the shop ambience is very pleasant. I feel very happy and calm when I am inside the shop looking at the latest products available. Stephanie has kindly invited us to visit the newly relocated shop.

I also bought some items. Among others is the Rice Wash Off Mask which is my mom's personal favourite. She always remind me to stock up this item for her. I have previously reviewed quite many SkinFood products. SkinFood buckwheat loose powder is my personal favourite. I have used up quite a few of them. It is good for oily skin. It does not clog pores and can control shine very effectively.

Apart from that, I love SkinFood lipstick too. It has honey as one of its ingredients and is moisturising enough. I do not need to use any lipbalm. I also like their nail polish and nail polish remover. It is very easy to apply and lasted for a week with moderate house work. Another item worth mentioning is their Makeup Remover. It removes makeup effortless and it is gentle to the skin. Overall, I am quite happy with SkinFood products because it is friendly to my skin and my pocket.

Avene Workshop with Vanity Trove

A few weeks ago, I was invited to Avene's event by Vanity Trove. The event was held at Cafe Barbera, Bangsar.

I was really amazed when I learnt that the Avene's Thermal Spring Water were bottled at the source at Avene Village in France. Therefore, all the original properties of Avene Thermal Spring Water are present in each spray. Wow! I was really excited to learn about how pure the water is. Due to its unique mineral content i.e. silica, calcium/magnesium and pH7.5, it is very suitable for soothing sensitive skin. 

The Various Uses of Avene Thermal Spring Water

• to set makeup
• after shaving
• diaper rash 
• eczema
• itching
• after surgery
• after dermatological treatment
• sunburn
• rashes
• after sport

After listening to the presentation, I would never look at this bottle the same way again.

Apart from the Thermal Spring Water, we were introduced to the various range of products from Avene. I did not realised that they have quite an impressive range of products for dehydrated skin, pigmentation skin, sensitive skin, normal skin and oily skin.

These are cleansers for sensitive skin. 

I also learnt that Avene Thermal Spring Water can be sprayed on paper mask and applied on dehydrated face. First, you have to spray onto your face and apply the wet paper mask soaked with the Thermal Spring Water. You can spray on the cotton pad and cover your eyes. It's very cooling and refreshing to the skin.

The girls were enjoying their masking session.

REN Skincare - Something Clean for your skin

I was invited to a lilac blogger event at Kens Apothecary at Bangsar Village II a few weeks ago. I am not new to REN as I have used some of their skincare products before and am currently using their serum and moisturiser. 

Terry Tian, the Brand Manager has kindly explained the REN skincare range to us. He is very knowledgable and helped to answer many questions thrown by the bloggers.

My thoughts about REN after finishing a few bottles of their products:
1. I like their Hydra Calm cleansing gel - it's very mild and when my skin is irritated/itched when using the wrong paper mask, I would use this cleansing gel to sooth my skin. It did a great job.
2. The Frankinsence night cream is good
3. The serums are good - Hydra Calm & Max Moisture Concentrate
3. The Morrocan Rose shower gel is fantastic 

My REN empty bottles

I like REN because their skincare is free from synthetic fragrance and colours, petrochemicals, propylene glycol, animal ingredients, GM (genetically modified) ingredients, sulfates and parabens.

However, I am struggling to use up the Omega 3 Night Repair serum as it has a fishy smell.
