Deleted post

Well, a senior called and was concerned about my previous post which I deleted yesterday.

It brought me back to sem 1, where I blogged about the Orientation and somehow some seniors found out about my blog and a few of them warned me quite harshly about the things I wrote yet I did not delete any post. I was worried, scared, angry that they'll track me down and 'bully' me during the orientation by making life difficult for me and my group mates but thankfully nothing happened.

So why delete that post then?

I realised that my blog is a place for me to rant and write about things that happened in my life. For some of you who didn't know, I have a diary which I write daily so sometimes when I managed to get hold of my diary before the computer, I'll rant through pen and paper. I guess it's quite impulsive of me to write things aka facts/ feelings/ emotions/ thoughts that run through my mind at that moment but it's called ranting for a reason right?

Sorry peeps, I guess having people around me finding out about my blog makes things difficult for me to rant publicly so I'll just rant at my private blog or in my diary and update this blog with random stuff...

Edinburgh trip was very very fun! Going around with a map and google map at the hand is so much fun!!
We went to the Castle, museums in the castle, Scotch Whisky Experience, bars, Hard Rock Cafe, gardens and I went to the Art Gallery by myself. I was trying to improve or should I say, instill some artistic value in my right brain LOL. I find the paintings very interesting but sadly, the gallery closes at 5pm so I only had 1 hour to look through which I barely covered 1/4 =(

Now I know that I like to go to museums and galleries so if I were to go down South aka London, I know where I'll be spending time =)

Princes Street Garden

After a fun day, went home by train but on the train I realised that I was surrounded by people drinking alcohol! The man sitting in front of me was having a sandwich with red wine while another guy at the next table was drinking his 4th bottle of beer just after departing half an hour ago! The aroma of alcohol was so nice though LOL

Reached Aberdeen station at 11pm and it was raining heavily. Walked home under the heavy rain and was very very wet and soaked when I reached home. Bathed and unpacked and used the computer till now (2.45am) so time to zzzz...night!

Drunk during initiation

I had my presentation yesterday morning and I did OK I guess. Anyway, my group mates and I went to a pub for a small celebration. Nicos let me try his ginger beer and I thought it was nice so I got one for myself.

It was so sunny (24 degrees!!! Normally it's 6-10 degrees so it really was a nice sunny day) and we sat outside of the pub under the sun. I was not tipsy nor drunk, just red like usual then my friend got me another pint of cider and after that, things just went out of control.

I got so tipsy.

I lost all my balance even when I was still sitting.

I was like floating and I could not walk straight.

Got to rely on things around me to walk.

My friend who sat beside me keep pushing me asking me to go home but the more she pushed me, the more I felt nauseous so I went to the toilet and puked. Then I came back and drank some water and puked again.

The other locals who are my batch mates too (I think) keep saying 'welcome to Scotland' =P

They were very very nice because they let me taste their liquor and was telling me it's ok to be drunk and Ewen (my another group mate) was reassuring me that as long as I am not dancing and singing on the table, I am alright LOL. More batch mates came and joined us and they met me in my tipsy state, so embarrassing but they keep saying it's alright and keep asking me to have a soft (coke or smth) or water and Nicos eventually got the water for me.

Aileen was missing because she went for work.

I managed to walk home with the help of Nicos and the moment I went into my room, I slept for 1 hour. I know my phone was ringing but I was too tired and tipsy to move. Anyway, woke up feeling better but still tipsy and giddy and puked one more time to make myself feel better.

I didn't have anything to eat the whole day hence drank with an empty stomach and got tipsy so easily.

Half an hour after I woke up, I forced myself to join the other malaysians for dinner to celebrate someone's birthday. I bathed and changed and went to Frankie & Benny's with them and had dinner.

My head now is still throbbing and pounding but besides that, I am ok =)

Tomorrow going for party with Aileen and Nicos at night. I think they're bringing me for clubbing whee~~

My 31/12/09

I was at Van's place at 2.30pm making the photo frame. Initially, we wanted help from the Frog as she was studying interior designing hence the creative juice but she was not available hence we cracked our own head to produce what you can see from below =)

Ta Dah!! Nice?!! It's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! I didn't want to give it to her as the new year present...

By 7ish, we left to my ballet teacher's place and they finally made their wall of fame. There were extra screws so we hung our creation and it fitted nicely.

Half way through dinner, we played with her and got really tired. Here, we are in her play room and what she's holding is her camera....USE YOUR IMAGINATION for god's sake!! LOL

See how everyone surrounded the table? I was the only one drinking though..but at 1sih, Van got the guts to try a little of the coconut rum+ Twister Orange juice. Notice all the alcohol at the far right?

The yuckiest alcohol ever!! It tasted like nail polish remover!! Apparently, they drink this in 3 seconds...I wonder how they can stand it!! Some tasted like cough mixture!! Yuck!!
You see the guy in green at the background? He was impressed and praised me for being so daring to taste so many different types of alcohol especially since it's my 1st time. He has a fetish of smelling/inhaling the scent of the alcohol before drinking. Weird guy...LOL

See how red I became?? Well, me going red is normal because when you put me under the sun or make me play my trumpet or laugh real hard, my face turns red =)

So at 1 something, we bid teacher and her family goodbye and I reached home at 1.30am!! For the first time, I tried alcohol and went home this late. I managed to drink 9 types of different alcohol-virgin vodka, vodka with different flavours, Chivas, Jap Plum Liqueur, Vanilla punch, Ginger ale and I forgot what else.

After drinking a few cups (mostly are just half or one quarter), my head started to pound slightly but I was not drunk since so much food was consumed. The Frog keep asking me if I'm high because she wanted to know how I'll act when I am drunk. She expected or I should say wanted me to be the emo type and squat at one corner drawing circles at the floor with spot light shinning on me. LOL!! I noticed after having those alcohol swimming in my circulation, I felt braver and more confident LOL!!!

Anyway, there you go for the post on 31st...I can finally boldly admit that I am not a nerd like how CK always called me or a geek like how WH called me the last time I met him.
