Drinking tea

has become a daily habit
not your normal red tea but real chinese tea
i used to be a hardcore coffee addict
until i found out that each Nescafe sachet contains 10g of sugar
i totally flagged it

back to tea
today's tea of the day is oolong tea
brought back from Taiwan
taste quite good & the good thing
is it's not too harsh on me stomach

like when i go to kopitiam
i normally order chinese tea peng
la-sap tea leaves
not only makes me stomach churn
its also gastric inducing!!

anyway to be honest
i have only water and tea to pick from
given that i'm bent on losing weight
and what better than tea
right?

no more ribena, no more coffee
no more coke, zappel and kickapoo
no more kopi-o-peng or ice lemon tea
i hope this sacrifice
would result in a few kilos lost lor!!

if not
i can go die now lor!

going out

(edit) 2.17pm

i hate everybody
i hate the world i live in

because it is unfair

skinny people have it all
nice figure and all
so what if you have a big nose?
fork out a few $k and wala u are perfect

and me?
lipo cost $20k+
depending on where you want the fats to be sucked out
and having parents that don't really care
about me gradually becoming a blimp
doesn't really help

each time i try to put on my clothes
i turn real emo and upset
angry cause i let myself to eat so much in the past
i feel like dying

i might as well just marry and have a baby
and have a perfect excuse to remain fat forever
than i can blame my kids forever
then again i don't want
to become my mum, always blaming and nagging

frenemies
if you have a super diet plan
(besides taking street drugs)
please email me!!

nothing seem to work no more
i secretly hope that my scale at home is concusted
but even if it is not accurate
there are the clothes and jeans that i may never
ever be able to wear again

i hate skinny people
i hate you all

Missing the good days

when us three gals
would wine and dine and SHOP!!
till kingdom comes
forward one year later its like everyone has something up their sleeve

one has a new baby now
so i'm sure the new mum would be doting on her son
day and night
the other went ahead and got engaged
and wedding pictures taken

and me?
stay coup up at home
wishing money would drop from the sky
only the portion in front of my house, within the gates
hardihar
wonder how long will it be before the three of us
can sit down and have coffee
better still, C L U B

i doubt not
u didn't either

sold out

not
tucked away in the midst of Mont Kiara
Souled Out is a perfect place
for chilling out after a long day
the restaurant which incorporates a fusion concept
is a blend of east mix west
which is now taking the city by storm

About three quarters of its customers are expatriates
with the remaining being locals
the food is freshly prepared
especially its woodfired pizza which is a must try!
besides the food which is bound to tease your palettes
there is a massive projector
for footy fans!!

ImageImagelast but not least
i must thank Richard for taking us to souled out
after which we went back to our hotel to chill out at the coffee house
at first i was quite shy around him
but as the night went on
i found him mesmerizing and wise
i guess it takes an older man to understand women
they say women are 10 years more mature than man in real life
what say you?

my palates at Richmond
a small coffee shop
on Ellis Rd
they serve western food
i dare say they serve
one of the best lamb chops in town
maybe because it is marinated
to suit Asian taste buds
i dunno
but i simply adore it

Image
Image

post munchies we went for drinks
at Jambu restaurant
which is about
a stone's throw away from Richmond
the interior of the restaurant is very intricate
and the courtyard
where smokers lounge is
also very well decorated

i heart bing

but that's not to say that i'll stay away from starbux
yet, bing's got great interior design
very bali-nish inspired
starbux on the other hand
is just very
whacchamacallit
functional
both are great!!

♥ food glorious food ♥

What wouldn't we give for
That extra bit more
That's all that we live for
Why should we be fated to
Do nothing but brood
On food
Magical food
Wonderful food
Marvellous food
Fabulous food!!!!

and then you pack on the pounds
had so much wonderful food in KL
i can't bear to look in the mirror or have another webcam conversation
that's how bad it is
shoulders are widening
hips are sizin up
she knows what i'm pinin' about

they always say
a moment on the lips
forever on the hips
in short, i'm just growing sideways
and at this rate it won't be long before i stab myself to death or slit my wrist
or jump off some building
lolx

i've never been a local food fan
especially in KL where you can fine dine
this trip was made special by Jeff who had requested for local food
every inch of the way
i had to give in to his requests
due to reasons known only to Ivan, him and I

so reluctantly, i joined them for
supper after zoukin'
i think only lou shu fun was responsible
for the 0.5kg gain
located in Petaling St
most locals and tourists will drop by
the popular hawker stall for some lou shu fun
to pamper their palette
and
satiate their hunger

Image.:very popular "night" dish:.

Image.:chu yoke mein:.

Image.:fried pig intestines with small chillies to taste:.

frankly speaking i amazed myself
by opening up to local food
the next day we had to satisfy Jeff's cravings for noodles
so Ivan brought us someplace far (think traffic jam)
for noodles with gravy, lum mein i think
i personally am not a fan of soupy wet noodles
so mine came dry and black, soya sauce i presume
on a scale of 1 to 10, i'd give it a pass, 5
nothing can rival that of kolo mee in my hometown hehe
i think Nicolekiss can testify to this
to quote Nicolekiss:
I don’t know about most of the people out there, but I somehow LOVE the ‘dry noodles’ they tend to serve in East Malaysia compare to West Malaysia. The noodles they usually served in kolo-mee, the chewy elastic effect and simply knocks me out each time I take a bite.

Image.:just thought it was memorable:.

Image.:huge as menu board:.

Image.:wet noodles:.

Image.:dry noodles, mine:.

Image.:side dishes: dried beancurd skin and fishball soup:.

every meal with Jeff was nothing short of gastronomic
including dinner at Prego's @ Westin that night
we had one rosemary garlic bread that came in the form of a pizza
and a real pizza with salami, cheese, ham and other toppings
one aglio olio, if u've been with me long enough
you'd immediately know that is my favorite
and a tiramisu dessert to try
so creamy it brought us to 7th heaven

Image.:picture that is worth a thousand words:.

lucky for me it rained cats and dogs after zoukin' on saturday
plans to go to Jalan Alor for "kung pao eel" were scrapped almost immediately
in part due to my tummy ache
for some strange reason it decided to torture me right after clubbin
poor boys were so hungry they ordered McD's
which arrived within 40 min but all soft and soggy
well better late than never
minus the soggy part
no picchas to show cause i was asleep then

Kim Gary is a must whenever i visit KL
imho it is better than most char charn teng in HK
believe it or not, or maybe it's just me
i love it when food is served the home cooked way
i always always order the shanghai ribs with vege
or the shanghai pork chop with vege
and cold milk tea
just those two will make my day, ridiculous i know
ivan is so sien of it already * giggles

Image
Image
Image
Image
had Tony Roma's for dinner upon Ivan's recommendation
T.R embraces the challenge to cater to a wide range of food but
hearsay their ribs are one of the best in town
too bad pork is not served at the flagship restaurant in Pavilion
or any other T.R restaurant in Malaysia, unlike in Singapore & the US
ordered ribs, pasta and deep fried shrooms
i must say the ribs stood up to the plate
***lick lick***

another friend of mine would be leaving for KL
sometime next week sighz
if anyone should go that person should be me
why am i stuck in this rut which i call home
i'm not complaining about all the access to comforts of my home
but i need the exposure
to explore the big world outside
shites i'm beginning to sound like a suaku

jon and i have been out several times
once to starbux and Mr Ho's
i hope i was good company for him
actually i'm uber shamed to say that i made him do my work

i rejected it * sorry jon
i'm just not into aliens, compassionate or not
i did say i would stick to my **strict diet regime
but i caved in and ordered a pan seared salmon
while Jon went for the mixed grill
picchas to show
