"Not Grant...."

Image
Grant has entered a stage of attitude problems. Some may believe that children don't suffer from attitude problems until the teen years; to those people I would say, "You've never had an 18 month old." Grant screams, flails around on the floor, and walks around the house saying, "NO!" to anyone who will listen. Yesterday he was sitting on the couch looking at his boots saying, "No, no, no..." But then, there are the happy moments with big cheesey grins that make it all worth while!

I TOTALLY understand that one! Emma's into stomping her feet and yelling...which drives me utterly NUTS!

It's those times when I feel sorry for those parents who don't believe in spanking their children...they have to just sit there and listen to it.

I woke up yesterday morning to "No!" being said in the monitor. I went in there to get Emma and I told her that we needed to start out more positive than that and say "Yes" for a change. She then said back to me, "NO!" It was a rough morning.

Jed's got the same thing going on. (Must be something in the water...) Although his 'no' sounds like he's from the deep south. I guess that's pretty appropriate now...He's also figured out how to let his body go limp so that it's very difficult to pick him up and you feel like you're pulling his arms out of socket.

Riley on the other hand is a perfect angel...I'm SURE she'll stay that way forever!
