Where I live: roofs
Where I live, most houses have a slate roof. This is an architectural tradition for all cities and villages along the river Loire. The slate of our house are old and I think we will have to change them in a few years ... Yay! This is not good for the wallet! The last picture show the roof of one of our neighbor's house (they are several roofs in their house...needless to say their house is not small ...).
I took these pictures yesterday between showers of rain. Fortunately, because this morning it's raining again (yes, I know, I'm a little obsessed with rain right now)... ;)

Corner view: a room with a view
There is no really nice view from the windows of my home.
Especially at this time... the weather is gray, rainy and windy :)

It rains everyday and several times a day.
Between each shower, the sun...but never for very long.

Corner View: typical family dinner
As usual I take my pictures for the Corner View at the last moment.
Big problem today: I had no photo of meal or family dinner... so I took pictures of my cookbooks which allow me (sometimes) to make good typical family diner..... ;)

Monday trip: à l'hippodrome
Little walk to the racetrack this sunday afternoon where there were trotting races.
These horses (the French Trotter) have always been one of my favorite races.
I think we will be back another day but I hope it will be warmer. Because we nearly freeze in the icy wind today ... Maybe we could run on the track with horses to keep us warm :)
