Preikestolen

Here's our favorite part of our vacation in Norway: the Preikestolen!
To do this hike, we took the ferry from Stavanger to go to Tau which is on the opposite coast. On arrival, we caught a bus that took us to the start of the hike.
And here we were not alone! I have never seen so many people on a hiking trail!
The hike takes about four hours. The landscapes were beautiful and varied and when we got to the top: WOW !!!!!
Despite the strong wind and many people, we could have stayed for hours enjoying the view. I was happy because despite my vertigo, I could go to the Preikestolen ;)
When we sat eating our picnic facing this incredible view, we said that we will absolutely return to Norway again to see more.

Norway / Lysefjord

One morning we took the boat to do a 3 hour cruise on the Lysefjord which is not far from Stavanger. Like most tourists I think, we expected this moment to see THE FJORDS that made us dream. It was wonderful.
From the boat we discovered the Preikestolen we went two days later.

Norway / Old Stavanger

Hello everybody !
Finally, I take the time to post pictures of our trip to Norway in Stavanger.

We really loved this destination.
For a long time we wanted to set foot in Norway, it's done! And I think we'll be back one day! We (maybe) were lucky, the weather was perfect, except the last day when we sometimes used our raincoats.

In this first post, these are photos of Old Stavanger where we strolled the early morning, just before the arrival of tourists (every morning a huge cruise ferry comes to moor in the port of Stavanger and leaves in the evening around 18:00).

This is an extremely well preserved old neighborhood fishermen houses. All these wooden houses are white and beautifully flowering. I was surprised and delighted to see so many blooms at this time... in France, everything was dry and flowering was definitely over.

During this first day, another highlight for me, I met an adorable blogger who lives in Stavanger. How is it nice to meet people through the blog!
Thank you again Gunn for this very nice moment :)
