corner view / imagination
Maybe you remember a Corner View whose theme was "experience". I chose to show you cards made to "promote" my work (here). I realized a new one that was not finished at that time. Now it's done, and here it is. This is my last trip to Copenhagen that inspired me ;)
And once again, I think the colors look a bit saturated on Blogspot...

Back to Skansen
Skansen / Stockholm / Sweden
Once again I post pictures of this open air museum taken less than two years. I think whenever spring is coming I have cravings for Sweden ;)

corner view / looking up
Did you notice when we walk in a city we don't know, we always look up?
That was my case in Copenhagen last september. I enjoyed seeing the wonderful steeples (hope it's the right word, not sure...) there are anywhere in this city. That of the old stock exchange (first picture) is my favorite.

London street art
Last summer, I was always happy to discover here and there
some nice illustrations in the streets of London.

big day
TAHITI 80
Big day
I had seen this french band several years ago and I was looking forward to go back to their show because they're very good. In early April, they make a show close to home so I'll be there!
It's fun because this band has a career in Asia, especially in Japan and is almost unknown by the the French. They sing in English...is it for that reason? Much like another french band Phoenix. They're better known abroad than in France ... what a shame ...
I wish you a nice weekend!

corner view / something difficult
Something difficult ... but not too much... choosing the right color(s)!
Our house door was changed 3 weeks ago. It's time to think about the painting because it's a wooden door with just a coat of white paint protection.
For the interior, I chose a dark gray (before we had a dark khaki). Not easy to find the right color with the old tiles from the house. Maybe I should choose a red lacquered ... too late, I started painting yesterday!
I started to paint the door yesterday, now I must paint the sides and top. I saw that I had left flow of painting, I must sand before the second layer....
Since we bought this house, I have always painted (the outer side) door in red because I like red doors! But it's over because facing the sun, the red becomes pink ...
After thinking a while, I opted for a dark turquoise.
Go to work!

books
The New York trilogy - Paul Auster
I haven't finished this book. I read the first part, but I haven't wanted to keep reading. Maybe my mood was not open, I don't know, but I haven't hooked this story.
The picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde
I wanted to read this book for a long time. It's done! Youth, beauty, decay, art and fantastic in the Victorian era... Very good book, I would like to see the movie now that came out a few years ago.
Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
I loved Emma I read some time ago but I think I prefer this one. I love being immersed in the life and habits of English society of the nineteenth. Very interesting. I read this book really quickly and I want to discover other novels of this author.
Svar við bréfi Helgu (La lettre à Helga) - Bergsveinn Birgisson
This short novel is a letter and a confession of love. It's beautiful and moving. I definitely like how Icelandic authors write...

just before sunrise
Pictures taken last Saturday morning, our day of departure.
The only day we saw the sun ... it was the eastern Pyrenees, not far from Andorra.
