Inspired by wine barrels found in Yecla – the wine-making area of southern Spain where Sancal is based – the Tonella Collection comprises a sofa, pouf, lounge chair, bar stool, and armchair. The Marie Antoinette-style seat is a reinterpretation of a padded chair from the brand's archive and is enormously versatile, comfortable and sturdy – making it an ideal piece to accompany a sofa at home, or to take up residence in a hotel room, retail dressing room, or public lobby. The vertical quilted rows, reminiscent of staves, hug the exterior and contrast with the smooth interior cushions.
