Using Survey Sites to get Free Coupons!

I have talked a lot about survey sites over the past few months, but I want to put a few pieces of a puzzle together for you. While I love getting free gift cards in the mail, I have recently found another use for survey sites. FREE COUPONS! :)

I use survey sites to accumulate money through PayPal, you can then use that money to purchase coupons through The Coupon Clippers. Last week I purchased 10 coupons for the Bayer Contour Meters. These will be $10.00 with a $10.00 Register Reward the first week in June. Because I used my survey money to purchase these, it was like getting the coupons for free! Each coupon will be a $10.00 money maker if I can find enough meters (This may be a problem since most of the stores are sold out), but the coupons don't expire till November, so I will have plenty of time to use them. My Coupons came in less than a week!


Some survey sites will give you the option to redeem your points for either gift cards, or money via PayPal. The site I have used recently to earn money for PayPal is Lightspeed Panel it only takes 575 points to earn $5.00 through PayPal and I daily receive emails with offers up to 150-300 points, so it doesn't take long for the money to add up. Now to be completely honest, sometimes I don't qualify for all the surveys they send me, but about 75% of the time I qualify. You can read my review of Lightspeed Panel from earlier this month here.

Daily Survey Panel is one of my new favorite survey sites. When I first signed up I was given the opportunity to take surveys totaling 470 points! 200 Points = $1.00 through PayPal and there is no minimum threshold. If you have looked into survey sites very much you know it's important to know the minimum amount it takes to get paid. Also, 2000 points (200=$1.00) will get you a $10.00 Olive Garden or Starbucks Gift Card. You can also get great gift cards such as Home Depot, Target, or Walmart.

You can also get great Rewards for Taking Surveys through My Survey. While My Survey doesn't do PayPal that I know of, you can redeem your points for Cash, so it's almost just as good! You can cash out with My survey after 1000 points! You will also earn points just for taking the survey questions to set up your profile when you log in!

(One last opportunity I use for PayPal is You Data. Since I have talked about this recently I didn't want to go into detail again. Remember today is You Data Payment Day!)

You Data - How to view ads on NWA Deals

Today I want to walk you through how to use the You Data Site that is now on my Right Side Bar. You Data pays directly to Pay Pal each Friday so you get your money quickly and there is no minimum required for payment. You can read more about You Data Here and Here.

Here's how to use You Data on NWA Deals:

1) Sign up for a You Data Account Here

2) Complete your "Me File" - This is the part that helps you get selected for ads. Companies select which clients they want to view ad's based on their "Me File" you can complete all or only a few of the "Me File" questions, but the more you complete the more chance of seeing ad's you have.

3) View Your Ads: You can view ad's on the You Data website, or you can view them here on NWA Deals. On my site, you will see a You Data ad box on the Right Side Bar, Here's what it looks like when you have an ad:

4) Click on "Reveal Ad's" to see your ads. This is what you will see:

5) Click "Collect in the bottom right corner. Typically you get paid $0.05 just for viewing the ad you just saw.

6) After you collect you Small Amount for viewing the ad you can typically earn $0.10 - $0.15 for jumping to the advertisers website. For Each ad click on "jump to collect", the money will automatically be added to your You Data account.

If you are viewing ads from my site at this point, you will want to drag the small triangle at the top all the way to "Keep 100%" so that you will get all of your money for each ad you view. This is the only part I do not like about this program because the code automatically gives me 50% if you don't drag your courser over to Keep 100%. Please know that I am trying to be very up front about this so that you make as much money as possible.

7) When you get to the end it, click reload and if you have any more available ads they will refresh.

It's that easy! I promise it will not take long at all to view your ads and while I don't make tons of money I do make $2-3 a week some week. Once logged in every time you are on NWA Deals you will see the ads that are available so you don't have to remember to go to the You Data site.

I told you I would be back with a review on You Data, while I don't think you will make tons of money with You Data you can make some easy money through them. Here are my 3 favorite features of you data:

1) No Surveys - They aren't asking you to fill out surveys so it doesn't take very much time and most of the sites they send you to are interesting because they are targeted toward you and your lifestyle based on your "Me File"

2) Paid through Paypal. With you data you get paid each Friday through Paypal. I signed up last Wednesday and got paid on Friday. Now that money is there for me to use to buy whatever I find online. I don't have to wait till I get to $30.00 or something like that, as I do with some other survey companies.

3) It doesn't take long at all. I just made $1.10 in less than 90 seconds. I logged in, clicked on my ads, and I was finished. last week I made almost $4.00 in less than 5 minutes. so in under a week I have make over $5.00 in less than 6 minutes! That's not too bad.

5 ways to make $5.00 Today!

Ok, here we go again. It's Monday and I always highlight some of my favorite ways to make money online on Mondays. :) Today I am going to tell you about a few companies that offer sign up bonuses, meaning you will start with money in your account. Sign up for all of them and you could earn as much as $25.00 in one day!

I have talked about Ebates before. You can read my long explanation here. All you do is click through from the ebates site to your favorite retailers and you earn a percentage of you purchase back in cash! There are over 1,000 retailers and it includes everything from Target.com, to Victoria's Secret, Toys R Us, and so many more!

Sign up for Ebates today and earn $5.00 instantly. Payout is at $5.01 so you only have to make one purchase through this site to receive your money! They pay quarterly and will send a check straight to your house!

Cashbaq is another program like Ebates. All you have to do is click through their site and you will earn money automatically on purchases you make online. I love having several options of sites to use because it let's me choose the highest payout from each store. Payout is at $10.00 and you can receive your payment by a Check mailed to your house, or by Paypal.

Mr. Rebates is another program like Ebates and Cashbaq. You can sign up and earn $5.00 credit just for registering your email address. Payout is at $10.00 so you will have to a little online shopping, but not much! Payout is via Paypal!!!

Survey Head is an online survey company that pays out at $25.00 via Pay Pal. Have I mentioned that I love the sites that pay via pay pal because I can purchase anything I want from them, or have the money deposited into my bank account. When you sign up today you are 1/5 of the way to a payout.

When I signed up I got 3 paid survey offers the first time. One for $2 and two for $1. I like that this company tells you your odds of being selected for the surveys before you start so you don't waste a lot of time doing screener questions. It also tells you the amount of time each survey should take to complete.

Send Earnings is one of my favorite Survey Programs. Actually I don't use it for Surveys very often. I mostly click on the emails they send me and I get paid just for reading them. It's so easy and I think the thing I like about it the most is it doesn't take much time at all. I get emails daily, so the money really adds up.

Payout is at like $30.00 so it's good to complete some of the offers. Of course I only do the ones that are free, but you can get $4.00 for registering with Snapfish online for FREE, and you can get $0.50 each from Mercury Magazines when you sign up for FREE, so it's super easy to make money with this site.

Money Monday's - Making Money with Swagbucks

Today I am going to focus on Swagbucks for my "Money Monday" segment. I know several of you have signed up with Swagbucks and I want to help you increase your winnings. I earn at least one $5.00 Amazon gift card a week by using swagbucks and you can easily do the same.

(Note: you can also earn Target Gift Cards by using swagbucks, another great way to save)

1) You Win Swagbucks by using the Swagbucks page to do your Internet searches. The results are from Google and Ask.com, so you will get reliable answers to your searches.

The easiest way I have found to win Swagbucks is to keep the homepage in my favorites and bring it up at least once a day to search for something. I often win in the first 2-5 searches each day. I search for everything from blogs and deals, to coupons for items I know I am going to buy. Be creative!

2) You can Redeem Swagbucks for Stuff! The best value is 45 Swagbucks = $5.00 Amazon Gift Card.

3) Keep your eyes open for Swag Codes. These are free Swag Bucks. All you have to do is go to your swagbucks home page and click on the black box that has your number of swagbucks on it. Then you will see a box on the left that let's you enter a code and click Redeem.

Remember that Swag codes are case sensitive, so I typically copy and paste them as I see them.

Now, Making Money with Swagbucks:

1) The most obvious way to make money is what I listed above. Do your own searches. When I am doing posts for this website, I always look up company websites through Swagbucks. I use the Toolbar so that I don't have to open a separate page. This makes it easy and I don't forget to use it now that I have installed the Toolbar.

2) Use the "Promote" page in Swagbucks.

This page will give you html and text links to Swagbucks that you can email, or post for your friends to sign up. All you have to do is copy and past the links into Facebook, My Space, or your own Blog.

Encourage your friends to sign up and use Swagbucks. Here's where it gets good.

3) For every Swagbuck your Friends Earn (up to 100), You also earn the same number of Swagbucks. You can have as little or as many friends as you like. The more friends you have, the more swagbucks you will earn. It's that easy!

I just earned $10.00 in less than 10 Minutes

Ok, I had to tell you this because I am always talking about survey sites. I just wanted you to know that I really do complete these and they really do pay. Remember This Post about a research study I was participating in, well I just received a survey offer for another $10.00. The survey only took me maybe 10 minutes at the most.

I also received a product in the mail to try for another company today. I have decided (purely my opinion) that the more surveys you complete the more offers you receive from the companies.

I have been doing surveys since the beginning of last fall, and I am just now starting to receive what I consider the high payout offers.

Money Mondays

I am starting a new series this week called Money Mondays. This will be great tips I use for saving, great coupons, ways to make money online. Basically anything that helps you save a little or make a little. I really appreciate your comments, so let me know what you think about this new series.



One of the best ways I have found to make money online is to use online survey sites. Now I must admit I do not have the time to sit at my computer all day long and fill out surveys, but I do love having my inbox full of them so that I can choose the ones I want to complete. Also, since you don't always qualify for every survey you are sent it's nice to have options.

Here's my opinion on how to use surveys.

1) Set a long term goal
You are not going to make a lot of money really fast, but you can make a small amount of money consistently for a long period of time. So decide to save for a new pair of jeans, spending cash for a vacation, Christmas money, or a nice dinner with the family. It won't be long before you start earning money that you can redeem for gift cards, checks, or prizes and you will start to see the value of your investment.

2) Sign up for multiple programs
Each Survey site is unique and offers different rewards programs. Decide what fit's your needs/wants best and sign up for those programs. I personally love getting money transferred into my pay pal account so those tend to be the surveys that I complete on a regular basis.

3) Complete Screener Questions
Most survey sites will have several (non paying) surveys. These are screener questions and they help to increase the number of surveys you receive. I have also found they help save my time because I don't get invites to surveys that I don't qualify for.

4) Be Consistent
Like I said, 1 survey a day adds up. Typically these take anywhere from 10-20 minutes so find a time when you sit down to check your email that you can complete 1 survey. As I have gotten serious about taking surveys I have been surprised how fast the money accumulates.

Every little bit counts. That's my motto. I know sometimes a little doesn't seem like much, but I like to save the little bits for one big goal. For example: I was inspired by Money Saving Mom to start saving up for Christmas 2009. $10.00 a month, or a week may not seem like much, but if you start now, by Christmas that's $100.00 that you wouldn't have had.

Here is one of my favorite survey sites. I don't figure that I can make $100.00 by Christmas, but I do figure I can make $30.00. You get $5.00 just for signing up. Then I get 3-4 Paid emails a day. I make $0.02 - $0.04 each email that I click on and open. So by the end of the year I figure I can make my $30.00 and I haven't spent much time at all.

Research Study

This is a packet I received in the mail on Friday. I have joined several online survey sites over the past few months and after completing a survey about 2 weeks ago I was selected to complete the second phase of the study. I can't tell you exactly what I am doing, but I can tell you that it takes minimal effort on my part and I can earn $70.00 in 2 weeks.

I was so excited to get my packet, it contained a palm to record information, a $10.00 Visa Check Card as an added bonus, Return Shipping Labels, and instructions.
