My Shopping Trip 5/22 - Target & Kmart

Image I made a quick run to Target and Kmart today and spent only $2.64 for everything you see in the picture!!! I only paid tax at Target, and I paid $1.00 plus tax at Kmart for the 4 - 12 packs of Pepsi!!!! I had a few issues that I won't go into, but I just wanted to share quickly and remind you that the Target store coupons that you can stack with the Kraft coupons will expire tomorrow.

You can see Target deals Here, and the Kmart Deals Here - If you live in NWA, you need to take a printed copy of the online ad for Kmart to get the sale price on the Pepsi!

My Shopping Trip Today $91.24

Image
Image
I got some great deals today, but it's amazing how fast the totals add up! I was under budget for the last two weeks, so I still have quite a bit of money left in my food budget. I spent some of my household budget today on Laundry Detergent and Dish washing Detergent that I found on Clearance, I also had some coupons that were about to expire so I was glad to be able to use them. I shouldn't have to buy these 2 items again for almost 6 months!

TRIP 1 -
Harps: $8.97
Walmart: $20.51
Aldi's: $36.32
Target (Fayetteville): $17.08
= $82.88 ($16.65 Laundry & Dish Washing Detergent, $66.23 Food)

Image
TRIP 2 -
Walmart (Pleasant Crossing) $0.36
Target (Rogers) $8.00
= $8.36
Total: $91.24 ($74.23 Food, $17.01 Household)
Image
At the Target in Fayetteville I found Electrosol marked down to $3.64, My $2.50/1 coupons expired on Sunday 5/17 so I was thrilled to be able to use them and get 3 boxes of Electrosol for only $1.14 each!
I also found Purex (56 load) for only $3.94, I had some Buy 1 Get 1 Free Coupons so I got each bottle for only $1.97 each!!! My Target Price for Laundry Detergent is about $1.50 for 32 loads, so I was under that price which makes me very excited!!!!
Image
This is one of the reasons I spent a little bit more than I planned, I found some really good steak meat at Harps marked down half price! I paid $8.33 for this meat and just fed 6 people for dinner! It was some of the best steak meat I have had in a long time! There were 2 packages marked down and I am wishing now I had bought both of them.
Cereal is marked down at the Target in Rogers to $1.99/box. I had some Kellogg's Coupons that were going to expire on Sunday for $1.00/1 and some coupons for Buy 2 Boxes of Cereal get a Free carton of Eggs. So I got 2 Boxes of Cereal, and 1 Carton of Eggs for $2.00.
I also got my free toilet paper and free 100 calorie snacks. Most of the rest of my expense was Hamburger Meat, Fruits & Veggies, Milk, Cokes, and a few other odds and ends that were on sale. We have so much food that I am running out of places to put things and trying to come up with useful places to store them. :) I am thinking I won't be needing to make a big shopping trip for a long time!

Shopping Trip 4/30 - $43.30

Image
I went shopping yesterday since it was the last day of the month because I wanted to make sure that I could use all my coupons that were expiring on 4/30.

Here's what I spent:
Walmart $10.04
Braum's $7.02
Target $18.99
Walgreens: Spent $7.45 in tax on my GC, got back $15.00 in RR = $7.55 Profit!
Total: $43.30 PLUS I have $15.00 in Register Rewards = Like Paying $28.30

Image
I also had a coupon for Braum's for $4.00/$10.00 purchase that I received in the mail, so I got all of my fruits and vegetables there. I was actually surprised their prices weren't that much higher than Walmart and probably less than Harps.
Image

I also had a raincheck from Target on the Lasagna making them only $3.49, so I purchase 3 of those. I had 3 Velveeta coupons that expired yesterday so I got 3 of the Velveeta's for only $3.44 each. I also found the Starbucks Chocolate on sale for $0.60 each so with the $1.00 coupon they were free!

Walgreens $34.81 Profit!

Image
Ok, first I want to say that this picture is after 5 different trips to Walgreens, I never clear out the shelves and there were plenty of Bayer Meters at all of the Walgreens I went to today. Also,I still have several meter coupons left, because I didn't have time to make it to any more stores.

Also, I noticed on the tags that the Bayer deal is a monthly deal and runs through 5/30, so if your store runs out, just save your coupons because you might be able to use them later this month when they re-stock.

Here's are my totals from the day:

Total OOP spent off my Gift Cards $19.63 (Includes the 9.25% Sales Tax we pay in NWA)

Total Rebates Earned on Physicians Formula $22.44

Sub total of OOP and Rebates = $2.81 Profit!

PLUS I still have $32.00 worth of Register Rewards to spend on things that I need, or save to roll during following weeks!!!

Total Profit Including Register Rewards $34.81!

My Shopping Trip Today 4/17

Image
My Total for Today's Shopping Trip was $74.19 after coupons and rebates! Since I only shop every two weeks that means I am under $40.00 for each of the next two weeks! I went to Harps, Aldi's and Walmart and found some great deals!!!! I am going to put my deals all in separate posts today because I want you to be able to get back to them from the buttons under my header. Here are some pictures from what I got, and the details of what I paid. Image

Harps $25.43 This included $16.52 for a beef tenderloin I had cut up into 9 steaks! These are a special buy on sale for only $3.99/lb. Not what I normally pay for meat, but since it's about to be Summer and we love to cook out (and I had the money in my budget) I thought these would be great to throw in the freezer! I also found a different Try Me Free Hillshire Farms Rebate package so I will get $3.99 back from that. (Total after rebate $21.44)

Aldi's $33.58 I got a lot of Fruit and Vegetables here. I also got Milk and Eggs as well as 5lbs. of Hamburger meat.

Walmart $22.89 I had several Free Product coupons that I used, and also got 2 Rebate items, one for Spray and Wash, the other for Macaroni & Cheese Crackers (Rebate Total $3.97) so I spent about $19.00 after rebates.
