Ellie Says

Ellie says the craziest things and it so funny.

I hear something new almost every day.
The kind of things they say and you giggle and make a mental note to never forget.
But I've forgotten so many of them already.
I need to write them down.
So....drum roll please...I'm starting "Ellie Says"
No, I'm not leaving Tripper out.
He just doesn't say anything.
So it'd be a very quiet post if I did one on him.

Here's a little "Ellie Says" for you...

On the way to Wichita...
"Mom, where are we?"
"We're on Greenwich road."
"I don't like that name.
I want to call it Princess.
Can you call Mema and tell her we are on Princess Road?"

In Walmart a few days ago while talking to a nice Walmart lady...
Ellie:
What's your name?
What's your mom and dad's name?
What's your brother's and sister's names?

The Walmart worker answered all her questions and then asked what her brother's name was.

Ellie:
I have Jacob, Gosh (Josh), and Tripperton.

Me: What?! Ellie you only have Tripp.
Then sheepishly looked at the Walmart lady and explained two were imaginary.

gradulations and happy birthdays!

Uncle Jup had his graduation party on Saturday.
Ellie was excited about it the whole entire week!
Every day she would ask is it was time for Jake's gradulation party.
And it finally came!
Woohoo for parties!

Jake had it with 3 other guys from his class.
The party was at a friend's house from church.
It was the best place in the world!
So peaceful...
Beautiful and flower areas, horses, a huge barn-just for parties.
Just perfect!!

Jake was busy with his friends, so I didn't get any pictures of him.
But I promise he was there.
I took some fun pictures with Tripper.
He's not a fan of big crowds, and he's too little to tell me to stop taking pictures of him.

Baby feet are the best.
Especially in silly little clog shoes.

ImageEllie was very busy making new friends.
And rock angels.
All the usual little girl things!

Great Gradulation party Jup!
We love you!

And then...
On Sunday, we had Levi's dedication, Mother's Day, and my birthday!
Woo!
That was a lot!
It was really fun though.
A very special day for Mr. Levi.
And also bittersweet as I remembered just a few years ago when we dedicated Ellie and Cora together.
Levi is such a joy!
He's so big! And squishy!
He smiles so much and was so sweet to watch!
And his eyes glisten just the way Cora's did.

I flunked in the picture taking category.
I only got one picture!
And it's not of Levi!
Big bummer!
Olivia and Julie are pretty special though too!

We finished the day with my birthday and presents!
Always a nice ending to any party!
What a fun day.
Thank you, my family, for making it special!
