The country fair went fabulous today!
Thank you to all the wonderful friends and family who supported the Vogts.
We appreciate you so very much!

The kids had a lovely time.
I forgot my camera.
Big bummer.
But I took full advantage of Andrea's awesome skills and hopefully have a few new family pictures.
Major attitude from one little girl, but I think we'll keep her.
I know it's hard when face painting and bouncy houses are just around the corner.
I did threaten that unhappy children couldn't be in the picture, but she didn't believe me.
We even said we'd give her an apple if she smiled...I know...best bribe ever.
But they did have a blast with all the kids, games, candy, and the best train ride in the world!
And now they're exhausted, but for some reason refuse to sleep.
I on the other hand am having major pregnancy issues and might just fall into a coma even though they aren't asleep.
Walking can really make a person in my condition incredibly tired and sore.
Even my toes hurt.

I'll leave you with this.
Slightly unrelated, but definitely something that needs to be shared.
I just saw it here and couldn't stop from giggling for quite a while.
Definitely how I feel most days.
Just add a bump in the front and I'm pretty sure they just snuck in my house and took my picture.

And don't forget about the great family pictures being offered.
$25 for a professional photography session with 8-10 edited pictures on a CD to keep {that's my favorite part...I love being able to keep the pictures forever to print of when I please!}

small group getaway

Here's our small group Branson trip in pictures...with maybe a few words here and there...'cause I can't help saying a few things!

Image

Our first group picture.
Poor Amanda got the flu the day before we were leaving.
So that's Dave holding her prego belly.
Can you tell?!
She decided to go, but stayed with her parents the first night so she could rest.
Having her parent's close by was a huge blessing and she was able to join us later the next day.

We did lots of wake boarding

Skiing

and tubing.

Laurel got to drive the boat while Wyatt tubed with Matt.
Image

She threw them everywhere!
It was hilarious to watch them fly and try to stay on!
You could see Matt just laughing the entire time.

That's my hubby over there wiping out!

This was Sarah and Justin's last year in our group.
We will miss them so much!

Image

Some people braved the huge cliffs too.
I wish they looked as high in pictures as they really were.

Image
Sarah is definitely the bravest girl in our group.
She is always the first to try something new, so skiing and jumping off crazy high cliffs was no exception.
She didn't even hesitate before she jumped!

Image

Dave and Matt did some synchronized jumping.
It was lovely.

On the second day, we had a laid back day doing fun things around Branson.
First up was a wine tour of Stone Hill winery.

Image

Thankfully, they had a nice line of sparkling grape juice.
All the pregnant girls got to sip on that.

The guys wanted to see if they could brave the incredibly cold water of Lake Tanecomo.
The river comes from the bottom water of Table Rock lake that goes through the dam they built.
The average temperature is about 45 degrees.

Getting ready.

It was really cold.
And me and the toe I stuck in agreed.

We spent some time outlet shopping and at Branson Landing, but I forgot my camera.
We even got free dessert just for being pregnant!
I guess 3 pregnant people in one place is quite a showstopper!
We had such a relaxing time and enjoyed our group so much!
I always feel incredibly blessed when I think of the great friends we have through our small group.
I'm already looking forward to next year!
I'm sure it won't be hectic at all with 5 little ones in tow.
