Helping people and communities around the world prepare for and respond to wildfires, floods, cyclones, extreme heat, and other severe weather.

Extreme weather and natural disasters are devastating to people around the world. We’re working closely with governments and partners to develop advanced AI-powered tools, build helpful product features and provide financial support to help communities be prepared, safe and resilient in times of crisis.

Wildfires

Combining the power of AI with satellite data, we’re mapping wildfires and providing up-to-date information to help communities take action and communities stay safe.

Floods

Our AI-powered forecasts cover 2B people in over 150 countries in areas at risk for significant flood events, to help governments, aid groups and communities prepare and respond more effectively.

Earthquakes

Using crowdsourced measurements from a global network of Android smartphones, our early warning system detects earthquakes around the world and alerts users in over 95 countries before shaking starts.
