About

Life, I’ve come to believe, is a lot like a great dish — it’s meant to be savored.

Every experience has flavor. Every place has texture. Every person you meet adds something to the table that wasn’t there before. Rush through it and you miss everything that makes it worth having.

I started this blog because the world is simply too big, too strange, and too generous to stay closed off from. There are cities I haven’t walked through yet, foods I haven’t tasted, conversations I haven’t had with people whose lives look nothing like mine. That gap feels like an invitation, not a comfort zone.

And underneath all of it is something simple: death comes for us all. That’s not a dark thought — it’s a liberating one. It means there’s no good reason to play it small. Attack life. Show up curious. Say yes more than you say no.

This space is where I document that philosophy in practice — through food, travel, culture, and the occasional moment that stops me cold and reminds me why all of this matters.

Pull up a chair. There’s plenty to go around.
