Get the beta for Apple iOS

Please note that we’re in beta, so you’ve got to jump through a couple of hoops to get the app. We appreciate you understanding and thank you for taking the time!

Getting the Subjam beta app on your iPhone, iPad or Mac laptop takes just a few steps:

  1. Install TestFlight, the Apple.com official app for beta apps through the App Store (Link)
  2. Install Subjam with this invite URL: https://testflight.apple.com/join/ko1T7PMe
  3. Launch the Subjam app, create a new account, including a profile pic and bio

Congrats, you’re in! Here are some fun things to do now:

  • Use the search icon to find and subscribe to other users.
  • Check out the “Recorded” feed to hear previously recorded broadcasts by other users.
  • Start a broadcast – Record your live show, tell a story about you as an artist., play one of your songs or talk about your upcoming event. Have fun! Creativity is key.
  • Keep checking back for new broadcasts, users, features and other content.
  • Contact us with any feedback, issues using the app or suggestions.

  • Broadcast settings (Broadcast title, Genre, Descriptions) are now remembered
  • Keyboard now does not appear before you tap on a text field
  • Volume slider now starts at the center with 0 and can be used to decrease or increase the volume by -12dB / +12dB
  • Last volume slider position is remembered for next app launches
  • VU-Meter now displays dB numbers between Left and Right channels

  • Added feature: Select previously recorded broadcasts from user profiles to listen
  • Removed extraneous text from listen to broadcast window

  • External audio device support! Test with your iRig or other devices connected to high quality sound sources (mixers, microphones, etc). This allows exceptional sound quality for your broadcasts.
  • VU meter and volume gain slider! See how ‘hot’ your levels are, and adjust accordingly. This gives great visual feedback, even pre-broadcast, both with and without an external audio device connected.
