Where is the outrage in the response from the Yonkers School District at the antisemitism expressed by their students? This is much more than just poor sportsmanship. (1/3)
It's Time to Legalize Natural Organic Reduction (A382/S5535) In New York State
Natural organic reduction is an end-of-life option that’s natural, safe and better for our environment than cremation or burial. (1/3)
The Jewish community is increasingly under attack, and we cannot allow antisemitism to be normalized. As New Yorkers, and Americans, we have a responsibility to look out for one another, and uphold tolerance and respect. (2/3)
I hold our school districts, and all people, to this higher standard, and demand more of a response. There needs to be consequences and a full investigation of the incident. (3/3)
I am honored to have been appointed Chair of the New York State Assembly Committee on Health. Improving access to and the quality of health care for New Yorkers is something that I have fought for since I first joined the Assembly. 1/2
This letter has been sent to Gov. Cuomo from myself and fellow Assemblymembers urging him to direct that the NYSDOH update their guidelines for classroom spacing according to the recent guidance from the CDC. This needs to be done as soon as possible. @NYGovCuomo@HealthNYGov
MTA FUNDS RESTORED IN THE BUDGET!
Throughout this year’s budget process I’ve fought for crucial MTA funds to be restored in the state budget. I’m proud to say that funds totalling $138 million – which were almost steered to the state’s general fund - have now been restored. 1/2

Thank you @nysut for supporting our NYS public schools. I stand with you in the fight to fund our public schools to the fullest extent, and against charter school expansion which could jeopardize funding for existing public schools.
I fully plan to conduct rigorous, public oversight during the legislative session beginning in Jan. It is time for public hearings that will inform & educate NYers about the state of the MTA, and the urgent & major steps we’ll need to take in order to solve the current crisis.
I’m honored to be back in Albany working on behalf of my constituents in the 88th District - Scarsdale, Edgemont, Eastchester, Bronxville, Tuckahoe, Pelham, Pelham Manor, New Rochelle and White Plains - and all New Yorkers. I’m also thrilled to now be representing Edgemont. 1/4
