Impossible to describe how incredible President Zelensky is. Could've easily fled Kyiv but decided to stay, possibly at the cost of his life, in order to inspire resistance and prevent the kind of quick victory Putin was hoping for. Will go down in history as one of the greats.

It's funny how they've got this the exact opposite way around. Almost all Ukraine supporters support Ukraine out of principle. On the other hand, most of the anti-Ukraine people in the West are only anti-Ukraine because liberals are pro-Ukraine.

Two recent Hinge dead-ends which sum up the state of modern dating: 1. We matched, had been talking for quite a while, agreed to meet up then suddenly when I mentioned off-hand that I'm 32 soon she was like "oh, I tend to prefer dating guys closer to my own age". Her age? 28.

"Holy Toledo" American support for Ukraine has plummeted since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The percentage who say the U.S. is doing too much is up 6-fold from 7% to 41%. Among the GOP, it's north of 60% U.S. confidence in Zelensky has dropped from 72% to under 50%.

Yeah it's wrong that so many people think Japan attacked the US for no reason. Japan attacked the US because the US embargoed Japan's oil. Why? Because Japan was on a genocidal rampage throughout east Asia.

when americans study the pacific theater of ww2, it starts with japan attacking the usa “for no reason at all” japanese history starts with 50 prior years of american interference in east asia, intent on limiting japan’s regional power which story sounds more believable
