If it wasn’t obvious by this thread suddenly stopping, @jennamargaretta and I were detained in absurd fashion by police. We were leaving City Hall to go home and were stopped. We showed press badges. “I don’t believe you.” Then they put us in buses. Hi from the 22nd district.
ICYMI: Last night, unidentified NYPD officers assaulted reporter @ArminRosen with a baton, stole his bike, and refused to identify themselves. He was wearing a helmet that said "PRESS."
“It’s not your bike anymore,” they reportedly told him when he asked how to get it back.
