Morning folks and I am so excited and nervous at the same time. Today is my first Guest Design spot on ABC Christmas Challenge. Helen has set the Challenge this fortnight and we are up to the letter "N" and it is for "NOEL" with an optional extra embossing.

I really enjoyed making this card and I am pleased with the outcome. For this card the Digi Image is "Bath Time" by Karen's Doodles. The colouring medium is Promarkers. The tags have been cut using "Scalloped Tags" S3031 die from Spellbinders. The edges of the image and tags have been distressed with TH "Tumbled Glass" Distress Ink. The bubbles have been highlighted in places with Cosmic Shimmer "Aqua Twinkles". Hers Towel and Mirror are from Card Connection. Ribbon and sentiment peel offs are from my stash.

Sir Stampalot June Challenge

I have used "Lattice String" all around the page punch from Martha Stewart. I have also used a five petal flower punch to cut the flowers and have put a pearl brad in the middle. The leaves were also cut with a punch.

Morning folks. A bit overcast here today but quite muggy. I have been a good girl today and have carpet swept the whole place. I can't hoover these days OH has to do that. Ribbon border cut with a die from Marianne Design Creatables - LR0101. I did a silly thing and forgot to wrap the ribbon around and stick it before sticking the backing card/paper down. This is the first time I have done this silly thing so I suppose there had to be a first time. The ribbon is from my stash. The sentiment was computer generated.

Messing Craft Club Card from Last Night!!!

Getting through my postings this afternoon. This is my third posting, will not do the fourth as I have to get ready for swimming tonight.

This card was started at my Messing Village Craft Club last night and as usual I didn't finish it. I was nearly there and if we hadn't packed up early last night I would have. It has become a joke with Lynne who runs it that I always finish them at home.
I am sorry I can not give you much information on the stamps as they were Lynne's/Viv's and I didn't get the name of them. I know the diecut bird on the side was a new die from Tim Holtz. We produced the background of the main card/tag by using distress inks, we stippled the card using shaving brushes. Lol!! Which gives a much subtle affect. In my case too subtle, which was a first for me because usually when I use Cut & Dry foam I am too heavy handed.

Crafty Ann Challenge#16

Good Afternoon. The weather can not make up it's mind today what it is going to do. I have just had a manicure/eyebrow wax done at home. First time I have had this done at home and it seemed quite strange. I usually go and have them done at a saloon but they have gone bust, which is a shame as for one thing they sold my cards there and also I enjoyed going out to have them done. The girl who use to do them at the saloon has started up a mobile business.

Karen's Doodles Challenge#13

Morning folks. Sorry I haven't been around much the past few days but OH said he wanted some us time, he feels we don't spend enough time together. We have had a couple of days just going around our local area. Yesterday we were at the Medieval Fayre/Oyster Fayre held in our local castle park. This afternoon we are not going any where but he wants me to come off of the computer and also stop crafting at 1pm to spend time with him. Bless!!!

This an A5 card with half the front cut away. Image is "Fearn" from PolyCrafts. The colouring medium is Promarkers. The edges have been distressed with TH "Frayed Burlap" Distress Inks. The wings have been glittered in places. The hidden greeting "Happy Birthday" has been stamped with a stamp from my stash-no name on it. It has been put in a pocket on the inside of the card and backed with the same patterned Bp as the front of the card. The pocket is also made out of the same BP and attached with brads. The glittered Bp is from my stash. The flower is "Handcrafted Roses - AC0121M" from Colour Connection.
