I can co-sign on this one. A HS QB doesn’t need a cannon arm to throw into the boundary.

However many hitches you’re throwing right now isn’t enough. It’s been well documented in football that corners are the worst tacklers on the field. Challenge them to tackle your best athletes by throwing hitches often. When they start playing tight throw the smash route.

Normalize making mistakes in practice. Stop hovering over your players like helicopter parents.

It’s ok for QBs to throw interceptions in practice. The best way for them to learn if they can make a throw or not is to try it. If they can’t make it then they need to learn from that and not make the same mistake twice. But if they don’t try it in practice they won’t know.

@giaasports and @GHSA Please send a memo to your football officials that a forward “HAND-OFF” (not a touch pass) on Jet from Gun does not count as a forward pass. Also, while you’re at it, let them know that a six on one side and four on the other kick-off is not illegal. Thank
